Dogs is Pink Floyd's best song.
The solo one time made me tear up. It was when I was all hormony and and emotional as a teenager, but still...
I only just decided to give Pink Floyd a chance last year, and out of the albums I've got Meddle and Dark Side of the Moon are the two I keep returning to over and over. Meddle is really underrated, Echoes is such an amazing piece of music and I absolutely adore Fearless;

Their best stuff:
Live at Pompeii
Dark Side of the Moon
Wish You Were Here
The Waters stuff is mostly depressing and boring.

This was the first Pink Floyd album I ever heard, and the one that made me fall in love with them. I still go back to it regularly, and am constantly transported into another realm with Gilmour's guitar work.
Ahhh it feels good to agree with jett. He's absolutely right.![]()
Animals is my favorite. Dogs is an amazing piece.
Hey you
Out there beyond the wall
Breaking bottles in the hall
Can you help me?
Hey you
Don't tell me there's no hope at all
Together we stand, divided we fall
This is one of my favorite Pink Floyd pieces ever, the build up it's crazy:
Careful with that axe, Eugene - Live at Pompei.
That and Saucerful of Secrets - Live at Pompei just blow away the studio versions. There's just so much more emotion at the Pompei show.
Could never get into The Division Bell. It didn't have the same bittersweet feel the past Floyd albums had. I should give it another go though, its been years since I attempted to listen too. Absolutely love 'Marooned' though.
The final cut is better than the wall.
do yourself a favor and listen to waters "amused to death" aswell.
Currently listening to The Wall. A lot of my co workers think Dark side of The Moon is the better album, but I keep coming back to the wall.
thoughts?
