I have two movie posters on my walls:

I always figured this poster was the victim of a committee. Clearly there is the iconic image of V in there but you can hear the studio shouting, "But we need Portman on the there." And then let's stick a tagline up in the corner, why not? Now it's unbalanced and needs some shit in the bare spot at the bottom.

They should have kept it simple and bold.

The tagline should be there imo, but I agree that it feels like they had a finished poster without Portman and then the studio made them throw her in there at the last second.
Still a nice poster though.

Though the movie has its problems I think Routh was a absolutely perfect Superman. If they replace him with any of the rumored 'candidates' I shutter to think of what the next one will turn out like.
