Obviously I'm not talking about the scrolling names that happen at the very end, but the credits before that that show the major actors, director, etc.

At first my initial thought was that it would be Rush Hour because those outtakes are just hilarious. I especially love one in Rush Hour 2 when after someone "falls" from a building, Chris Tucker says "Damn...he aint gonna be in Rush Hour 3" :lol cracked me up.

However I LOVED the ending of Slumdog Millionaire. The dance scene just came out of nowhere and was so awesome. Great song as well. Not only that, but even the images they show with the names were just really cool. I really liked the way they displayed a picture of all the actors for each character. Very nice.

So what's your favorite GAF?

I love the credits in Wall-E, showing humans rebuilding civilization. The more things progress, the more modern art movements begin illustrating the process.

Speaking of Pixar movies, The Incredibles and Rataouille had some pretty cool animated sequences in the credits, though they didn't help to finish the story the way Wall-E's did.

The Bourne movies have pretty cool graphics over the ending credits.

Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail throws some funny gags into the credits themselves.

Pixar's faux-outtakes (Toy Story 1/2, Monsters Inc) are usually pretty good.

I thought the PG-edited version of "Rockin' the Suburbs" at the end of Over the Hedge was actually a better song than the original, and the interlude features some extra gags from the main characters.

Dodge Ball... not exactly credits but still golden

All the submissions suck. Not only because the idea of a movie regaining presence by virtue of a twist ending is flawed and stupid. These movie all suck.

If you love a movie because it has a great twist you are a idiot. This movie is excellent and beautiful\.

What the fuck are you talking about Mac? We aren't rating twist endings, we're rating the actual credits sequence, where the names of the people who worked on the movies crawl up the screen once the actual movie is over.

My vote goes to Ratatouille. I <3 2D Pixar animation.

I remember after all those years I waited for the trilogy, from the first fucking questions Peter Jackson took after the project was announced, to this ending on trilogy tuesday, watching these credits actually felt like the end of some sort of personal journey to me. So the whole sequence kind of complimented that melancholy feeling. I sat in the theatre, as the lights began to turn back on, in a sort of daze that it was all over.

I read the books as a young child, and I never actually imagined they were interpretable in any quality way for the big screen. What an amazing trilogy.

I sorta imagine that's how some people feel about the old Star Wars movies (I've always hated them).

Came here to post that. Loved that the credits resolved the story.

I like the credits of Ichi the Killer scrolling all over the place, sure it makes them unreadable but it looks nice. 7.45 into this clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ehwdNC4lq8. SPOILER ALERT, the link is the whole ending of the movie

Personally I prefer the old style where all the credits are in the beginning of the movie and none at the end. It serves as a great buildup for the viewing experience.

Beautifully said. I remember these were the movies I obsessed over the most during the beginning of the internet age. Aint-It-Cool having every major cast update. I re-read the trilogy for the first time trying to imagine how the director of The Frighteners was going to fuck it all up. I never expected it to be good, but I was still excited for a B+ film series that covered a book I loved as a teenager.

When I walked out of the theater in 2004, tears rolling down my face after the sketches faded away, I realized I didn't know what to do after 10 years of obsessing: I could go on with my life.

Gremlins 2. Daffy Duck would randomly stick his head in and comment on how long the credit roll was on multiple occasions.

Old Movies, where the credits came before the movie started and lasted only a couple of minutes.

After that the Injury-thon credits of Jackie Chan's HK movies.
