Heart sank when I saw the thread title update. I'm feeling very similar to many people who have already posted their thoughts. I've never met the guy, let alone directly talked to him over GAF. It's still awful to see a member of a community we all cherish pass away. He was too young. GAFers should be passing away in 2072, not 2012.

Cancer has afflicted too many people I know in my personal life. Now it's affected someone from GAF. It just won't go away.

I am very sorry to say that I have no idea who Scorcho is, but it is always a sad day when one more good soul is claimed by the monstrosity that is Cancer.

Hopefully... despite the cancer, he had a good fulfilling life that he enjoyed and that the loved ones that he left behind, both in real life and in online, can stay strong.
