Since this got bumped, I'll post. Because of recommendations here I switched from iTunes to Musicbee. It's fantastic, very customizable and makes updating tags a breeze.

Switched to Clementine on Linux and also downloaded the Android companion app. Really like the setup. I just hope the Android app gets updated with more robust actions.

I use Zune but honestly I hardly listen to music stored on my PC these days. Just searching YouTube is often quicker because all my mp3s got misnamed and the tags got fucked up years ago. One day I will sort it but it's such a big task it's hard to find the motivation.

Foobar2k or MusicBee.
I don't think there is much choice.

I love Foobar. It's so fast, lightweight and customizable. Foobar2k + ASIO <3

Depending on how big your music collection is, foobar+Discogs plug in will make short work of it.

My Foobar2k setup. I like to keep it simple. Most themes I try are usually a UX hell. They basically work for one size, one setup, if you try to change anything that doesn't show like the screenshot they sold the bullshit to you, it usually works very badly.

I still use some old version of Winamp. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" and all that.
