It should do, it's still supposed to release in Spring I believe.
They never put out a date so I would assume that its after now.

I think TES VI could pretty much be teased at the end of the show. I would not rule that out AT ALL.
It hasn't?
As far as I know, Battlecry wasn't cancelled, the last news we heard about it was they had 'concerns' about it.
I do think it makes sense to move given the openings. Tuesday is kind of an awkward day for conferences as it is given the show floor opens that day.So besides Square Enix potentially moving to Monday morning (after Microsoft), we should probably expect more of the same from the rest (A Microsoft press conference on Monday morning, a Sony press conference on Monday night, a Nintendo Digital Event on Tuesday morning, etc.).
And yes expecting The Elder Scrolls VI is insane.On-topic, why's everyone hoping for Elder Scrolls VI? Didn't we just get Fallout 4 from the main team?
Yeah, I expect Fallout 4 DLC from them, definitely not TESVI.I don't know, man. I'd love a new mainline Elder Scrolls, but it's just a few months since Fallout 4. And if they'd announce TES6 in June, I assume they'd want to release it the same year. And since Fallout 4 has just released, that would be very very wishful thinking. Including a simple tease.

11/11/11.Wow, Skyrim released a lot longer ago then I remembered. Bethesda sticks pretty hard to three/four years between games based on previous release schedules. I would expect ES VI in 2018 probably as a cross platform game on the new consoles.
It could easily be delayed for sure.
Can't be too far off though right? Must be close to coming out at this point.
I think it's less because Nintendo does a Digital Event & more because said Digital Events occupy less time (about an hour, give or take) with the Treehouse Live stream going up immediately afterwards.I do think it makes sense to move given the openings. Sony ended up moving over to Monday way back when due to this.
Nintendo's event is digital so it's a bit different.

Which reminds me, are Bethesda's press conferences on-par with the others in terms of length (about 2 hours or so)?
They could still say it's in development but launching in 2017. Not quite their style, but it would be THE show stopper.I don't know, man. With the exception of EA's move, the press conferences largely haven't changed in about half a decade.
I think it was 2 years ago beta keys were included with Wolfenstine
Their internal studios are:
Bethesda Game Studios (Last game released November 2015): Elder Scrolls, Fallout
Battlecry (Last game recently canceled): Battlecry (Canceled)
Machinegames (Last game released May 2014): Wolfenstein
id Software (Next game releasing this Spring): Doom
Tango (Last game released October 2014): The Evil Within
ZeniMax Online Studios (Releases quarterly DLC packs): The Elder Scrolls Online
Arkane Lyon (Next game targeted for 2016): Dishonored 2
Arkane Austin (Last game 2012): Prey 2
Active partner studio:
Dire Wolf Digital (Next game was supposed to be out last year): The Elder Scrolls: Legends
So basically it's just a glorified demonstration for their big games of the respective year with a few announcements sprinkled in. But wouldn't Bethesda doing press conferences more indicate that they're growing as a publisher to get close to the likes of EA & Square Enix? And what of Konami? You'd think after the entire company went to shit that they'd drop their press conference slot.Theirs was 1:15, so about on par with the other third parties.
Console vendors sometimes take a bit longer, but they're getting closer to that timeframe as well.
The vast, vast majority of it was spent showing around 50-60 minutes of footage split between Doom and Fallout 4, with a few quick announcements of other things, since they have a lot less games than most other third party publishers who bother to hold a conference.
If DOOM is spring, hopefully it's out before the showcase rather than getting a release date during the show.
This is surprising, I guess they feel confident with their 2016/first half of 2017 line-up. I thought that this would be a every-two-year thing, to show off their slate and then release those games and come back with the new stuff. I guess there's more new stuff incoming.

So something more akin to Nintendo's Digital Events?Konami will almost assuredly not have anything resembling a press conference.
Bethesda is growing, yes, which is why they're bothering to hold press conferences now.
Beyond this, direct marketing has become a lot more popular than press-based marketing among publishers, so we see several companies adopting this model that wouldn't have considered it in the past. I wouldn't be shocked if we see other publishers take up a live-streamed event of some sort rather than relying on the press to hype their games. Square Enix and Bethesda only started holding press conferences of this nature last year.
I'd add a couple of years to that. And Another One.
Elder Scrolls announcement and Dishonored 2 gameplay incoming.
Have they announced any delay for Dishonored 2 yet? Last thing I know was the Spring 2016 announcement last E3.
So something more akin to Nintendo's Digital Events?
Any chance Warner Bros. takes EA's old spot? They have a lot of content these days, and I don't think they actively have a disinterest in these press conferences like Activision and Take-Two have.

Whaaaaaaaat? Again this year?
Elder Scroll VI?
I hope it's in Hammerfell.
My prediction:
- Fallout DLC
- Dishonored 2
- Doom
- ESO-related stuff
- Other minor announcements
ES6 won't be happening. Certainly not this year.
It's been 5 years since skyrim.I hope the people saying ES6 aren't getting their hopes up, there is no way they could show anything substantial at the conference.
I don't think Activision Blizzard is likely to do so because the game volume is so small on the Activision side and the Blizzard side prefers to host events at more community oriented conferences like PAX, Gamescom, Blizzcon, and other events of their own creation (like the Hearthstone Tavern) instead.I keep waiting for Activision Blizzard, Take Two, and or Bandai Namco to jump in with a conference of some nature. I'd like to see smaller localization companies, like XSEED, NISA, Idea Factory International, Aksys, etc. do something, but they usually hold smaller press events randomly throughout the year.
