It'll play almost exactly like the original version, but instead of (or probably in addition to) a GameCube controller, we'll get to use the Wii Remote as well. Unless Capcom finds a way to improve the experience for those who've always hated the RE control scheme, this port won't even have a different feel like Biohazard 4 Wii Edition did.

No guarantee that Wii owners will have GC memory cards and controllers. Plus the game's been discontinued, didn't sell too greatly, and the Wii fanbase's sheer size and proven interest in the RE franchise may give this game a second life.

Not that I condone this. We need new stuff ASAP.
