I looked but my google fu has failed me.
Third and fourth photo reminded me of this:
Soldiers with fixed bayonets send to quell protests. I hope we will never see anything like that again in western world.
To be fair, they were marching on the Pentagon, I'm fine with soldiers preventing random people from walking into the DoD headquarters, and note that they actually have their bayonets covered here and in the more famous picture from that demonstration they don't have them attached at all. So as a whole, I think it was a reasonable response from the military there (IIRC there was some FBI fuckery going on with that march, but FBI fuckery is like a constant in America).
To be fair to the protestors, they weren't planning on occupying the Pentagon, they meant to engage in low-level civil disobedience in order to give a bigger reach for their anti-Vietnam war positions, and it generally worked well.
Now if you want to talk about shit we should never see again...
