Same lolI don't blame them, I'm addicted to this trailer, I've been waiting for a movie like this since I was a kid lol
I've been waiting for a movie like this since I was a kid lol
I've been waiting for this movie since i read the Priest comic two years ago and maybe Hickman two years before thatI don't blame them, I'm addicted to this trailer, I've been waiting for a movie like this since I was a kid lol
I think so because of the accent the actor was doing in civil war
In comics they were speaking Hausa, which is a mahor west african language and the biggest group in NigeriaI meant in the comics.
Wow, how have I NEVER seen anything from this before?
This is horrible.

which kinda made me happy seeing people speak hausa in a comic
I knowThey are using the Xhosa language as the native Wakandan language for the MCU.
I know, for the comics I have no idea but what i was saying was that since the actor put on an African accent, if T'Challa is a native of Wakanda, perhaps there is also a fictional Wakandan language.I meant in the comics.
I'm pretty sure I have told this story before, but I was so happy last Halloween when I saw a white kid dressed as Black Panther and a black kid dressed as Captain America trick or treating together. It made me believe in America for a moment. When Boyega is Finn and I see photos of little black boys and girls wanting autographs or having his action figure, I get an immense feeling of joy
I've said for the last couple years, my happiness will be at a max when I see a little kid in a Black Panther halloween costume as the movie gets closer. When I see Boseman as T'Challa I get happy. When I see MBJ I get happy, when I see Lupita in a live action role again looking like a BAMF I'm hype as hell. I'm just excited to have this movie, then it comes out in February too? Whew baby Black History Month is gonna be fun in 2018.
Yes and noI know, for the comics I have no idea but what i was saying was that since the actor put on an African accent, if T'Challa is a native of Wakanda, perhaps there is also a fictional Wakandan language.
YesI wasn't particularly interested in Black Panther's character in Civil War, and unfortunately, the trailer didn't do much in making me care.
That said, I'm still super glad this is getting made. It was pretty amazing seeing a big budget tent pole with an almost entirely black cast. Really hope more suits start financing more big budget movies that are unashamedly about and for minorities
Also, does BP have superpowers or is he a rich guy with a suit that powers him up?
Slayven, perhaps a Black Panther primer thread is in order to describe his powers, background, etc. get people ready.
Yep would like to see that SlayvenSlayven, perhaps a Black Panther primer thread is in order to describe his powers, background, etc. get people ready.
Also, does BP have superpowers or is he a rich guy with a suit that powers him up?
The answer is both he has all the gadgets and armour the whole batman thingbut also has Superpowers thanks to an herb so he is physically on par with Cap and has super sensesthe guy answered yes which doesnt really answer the question. the answer is the Latter.
He's basically Marvels answer to Batman.
and hes one of the most intelligent in the Marvel Universe.
I've said before how I was annoyed to see panther lose to cap during civil war. His whole suit is vibranium, he should have the advantage. And then black widow stops him with a taser? Come on son...
Come on man Panther was straight up owning Bucky every time. It was Caps movie too, he should have won.

Yeah for some reason they cut this scene from the final film that shows his strength is around the same level as Cap http://imgur.com/xoPffclI've said before how I was annoyed to see panther lose to cap during civil war. He looks like the most baller thing about this movie
I get what you mean about oldman tho with the combover. But then again I've never seen a swagged out black combover on film until this so it's a big deal. Mans gonna be a future trendsetter just you wait

Nah.
In a trailer with Predator T'Challa, Queen (Mother) Angela Basset, Dorae Milaje kicking ass, genius scientist Shuri with panther gauntlets... MBJ's hairdo is the most baller thing.
disco pls
nah far from it
Well, I disagree with YOU! HA!

its like people watched the trailer and went "Micheal b jordan is in this?" lol straight tunnel vision. don't get me started on how amazing the city looks, or BP walking like he is the second coming

Yeah. Second to Michael B Jordan.
That single shot of him was the most swagged out thing in this trailer. Dude will kill it.
