On average yes I tend to agree. Now there are exceptions like the women posted in this thread. I actually find asian women less attrative than all the other races.
it makes sense to me because...im not attracted to most black women.Foxy Fox 39 said:I must say to avoid offending people that I don't consider any traits black people have, equal to sickle cell. It was simply an analogy to show why a statement like, "I'm not attracted to black women" makes no sense unless it's purely related to skin tone. And if it is that's kinda messed up.
I did'nt take this study as fact or even think my opinion is the rule. I'm not sure where you got that. But I'm in no position to argue the facts as I do not know them.Tristam said:No, the info is not worthwhile. On what basis do you believe it is? Your personal preferences? Since Rahxephon91 of NeoGAF doesn't find black women in general attractive, I suppose it means they're the least attractive "race" of women.
I don't know, it seems you have to be 100% to say such things. I think we're watchamacallit's.GDGF said:Same for me. I still know I'm black, though.
Opiate said:I absolutely love this conversation. I really wish science could be done on it legitimately, but it's almost impossible to do because it makes virtually everyone so uncomfortable that almost any finding except "everyone is exactly equal and race doesn't matter" would be unacceptable.
Perhaps that is, in fact, the case, but I think it should be obvious that such conclusions are very unlikely: we can already verify without any real effort that height varies by race (in aggregate), several facial features vary by race (in aggregate), hair color varies by race (in aggregate), and many other obvious but ultimately harmless distinctions.
It seems extremely unlikely that we are so different in admittedly harmless ways (again, e.g. hair color) but are exactly equivalent in all the ways that are too distressing to study. It seems much more likely, to me, that there are indeed differences in those areas, too.
But we may not never know the answers to these questions simply because so few people want to hear them.

I doubt that statistic holds in sub-saharan africa, where obese persons are in the minority for self evident reasons. anyway, I love me some east african women. ethiopians and somalians to be precise.BlackBeltBambi said:I posted a link about WHY people may not find Black women attractive. Because Most of them ARE FAT! They're the most obese group in the U.S. Like 40% of them or even more I think. But, keep posting the hot ones GAF.
Dreams-Visions said:I'd be bitter but I'm enjoying this thread too much. I think most of the women posted would be offended if they were told they "weren't black enough" by some of our posters here.
Folks, this is what our community looks like. It's always been like this. To be 'Black' in the Americas is to be any and all of these shades. Those who don't understand this don't understand what it means. None of us have a "pure" African lineage. At least, very few of us. Almost all of us have some Native American and some Caucasian in us. That drop that was good enough to subjugate us, rape, enslave and oppress? Yea, that same drop is the unifying force for all of us. If that bothers you...if you can't understand why...GOOD. It makes it all the sweeter.

Let's just all agree: yes, absolutely, there are many attractive black women in the world.

Perhaps blacks are more intelligent. Perhaps there is no difference in intelligence, but there is a difference in athletic abilities. We can't know unless we allow people to do a lot of these studies on large scales over a long period of time, as we do with many other sciences.

Tristam said:What "objective" measures (i.e., not determined by a panel study) would science use to determine physical attractiveness between "races" that science has concluded don't actually exist? Waist-to-hip ratio? Facial symmetry? I think you'll find that those attributes are roughly equivalent between samples drawn from different ethnic populations.

People in this thread should really watch Good Hair, it's a great look into the money made from stigmatizing the natural hair of black women.
