Black women less physically attractive than other women.

On average yes I tend to agree. Now there are exceptions like the women posted in this thread. I actually find asian women less attrative than all the other races.

I must say to avoid offending people that I don't consider any traits black people have, equal to sickle cell. It was simply an analogy to show why a statement like, "I'm not attracted to black women" makes no sense unless it's purely related to skin tone. And if it is that's kinda messed up.
it makes sense to me because...im not attracted to most black women.

im looking at the girls in this thread, and i can definitely recognize the beauty in a lot of them. but they just dont do it for me.

its what i imagine a gay guy feels like when looking at hot women

No, the info is not worthwhile. On what basis do you believe it is? Your personal preferences? Since Rahxephon91 of NeoGAF doesn't find black women in general attractive, I suppose it means they're the least attractive "race" of women.
I did'nt take this study as fact or even think my opinion is the rule. I'm not sure where you got that. But I'm in no position to argue the facts as I do not know them.

Cut out the "hot chicks" pics, guys. I won't allow this to turn in to a thread of that nature -- it's already contentious enough as is.

Let's just all agree: yes, absolutely, there are many attractive black women in the world.

I absolutely love this conversation. I really wish science could be done on it legitimately, but it's almost impossible to do because it makes virtually everyone so uncomfortable that almost any finding except "everyone is exactly equal and race doesn't matter" would be unacceptable.

Perhaps that is, in fact, the case, but I think it should be obvious that such conclusions are very unlikely: we can already verify without any real effort that height varies by race (in aggregate), several facial features vary by race (in aggregate), hair color varies by race (in aggregate), and many other obvious but ultimately harmless distinctions.

It seems extremely unlikely that we are so different in admittedly harmless ways (again, e.g. hair color) but are exactly equivalent in all the ways that are too distressing to study. It seems much more likely, to me, that there are indeed differences in those areas, too.

But we may not never know the answers to these questions simply because so few people want to hear them.

What "objective" measures (i.e., not determined by a panel study) would science use to determine physical attractiveness between "races" that science has concluded don't actually exist? Waist-to-hip ratio? Facial symmetry? I think you'll find that those attributes are roughly equivalent between samples drawn from different ethnic populations.

I posted a link about WHY people may not find Black women attractive. Because Most of them ARE FAT! They're the most obese group in the U.S. Like 40% of them or even more I think. But, keep posting the hot ones GAF.
I doubt that statistic holds in sub-saharan africa, where obese persons are in the minority for self evident reasons. anyway, I love me some east african women. ethiopians and somalians to be precise.

I'd be bitter but I'm enjoying this thread too much. I think most of the women posted would be offended if they were told they "weren't black enough" by some of our posters here.

Folks, this is what our community looks like. It's always been like this. To be 'Black' in the Americas is to be any and all of these shades. Those who don't understand this don't understand what it means. None of us have a "pure" African lineage. At least, very few of us. Almost all of us have some Native American and some Caucasian in us. That drop that was good enough to subjugate us, rape, enslave and oppress? Yea, that same drop is the unifying force for all of us. If that bothers you...if you can't understand why...GOOD. It makes it all the sweeter.

edit: oh shit THANK YOU, BASED BDIZZLE.

You are so right, tons of times I am told I'm not really black. It is offensive.

yeah for some reason they think black people look simular to a black face actor.

Perhaps blacks are more intelligent. Perhaps there is no difference in intelligence, but there is a difference in athletic abilities. We can't know unless we allow people to do a lot of these studies on large scales over a long period of time, as we do with many other sciences.

We may not never know the answers to these questions simply because so few people want to hear those answers.
Perhaps so.

In my world, I've seen plenty of ______________ (fill in the race) ugly chicks and plenty of ____________(fill in same race) hot chicks. I have no meaningful preference, though I prefer brown.

Anyway, I think a study would only prove to remind us how Euro-centric domination of culture pushes its ideas on the world like gravity pushes itself on Earthly matter.

This reminds me. There is this super beautiful mix chick I always see in the library and I am too bitch to talk to her. Carmel skin and green eyes...so hot.

If you don't know the facts, I would suggest it's safer not to uncritically assume that black women are genetically inferior to other "races" of women.

I would hit all of god's creatures with equal vigor. Except Eskimo ladies. For them, I need to be found half frozen, and then revived by an Inuit Chief's warm red daughters.

Golden ratio, for starters. Extremely long standing, well established preferences that cross cultures and generations, as another.

Lots of things come and go, like the preference for blonde hair or tall women, for example. But a strong preference for broad hips and a specific waist-to-hip ratio has endured for an extremely long period of time across men of all cultures. That could likely be used. Other examples for men might include a strong jaw line, which has been deemed attractive by women of virtually every culture precisely because it suggests high testosterone levels.

Well, there's one excuse.

I personally always blame Europeans for the way I feel when I find a person attractive. They are always in my head, talking, whispering...

Please explain the sentiment. Why would somebody not understanding this or being confused by it make you feel good?

Quite honestly I'm AA and I don't find AA women that attractive at all. There are exceptions but that's it. For every hot AA chick I see, I see three or four that do absolutely nothing for me. Atleast I now have science to back me up.

Instead of reposting the pics I typed a description when I quoted you. Now if this were your usual post I would have had to drop the "not" and as a result the "hot" as well. A small change, yet one that makes a world of difference.

How is it an excuse? Caucasian features are idolized by the media and fashion. So you are bombarded by women, even those of different races, who are more likely to adhere to that.

People in this thread should really watch Good Hair, it's a great look into the money made from stigmatizing the natural hair of black women.

Yep, absolutely, that would need to be taken in to consideration. However, that would not explain why black males are considered very attractive. Are we only racist against black women?

I'm not saying you're wrong, again. I'm just saying it's quite possible that there is something to this, and we'll likely never find out because everyone is afraid to suggest that we're anything but exactly equal in all ways.

I also understand why we say we're exactly equal. Racism is a terrible thing, and if any study were to look at a large sample size and conclude that Asians really were smarter than everybody else, that would only feed long standing racist fires. Therefore, it is not at all obvious to me what the correct approach to all of this would be -- however, I do feel strongly that glossing it all over and pretending there are no differences between races when it seems blindingly obvious to me that there are differences is not the right approach.

There is a difference in athletic ability. No one I've ever met has disagreed with that. Ever see an Asian/White running back in the NFL? It's just when it goes the other way is when feelings start to get hurt.

It's an excuse that gets away from the original topic. It proves nothing more then, "blame the media", which is always a good excuse for someone who has no legitimate argument.

Kind of like when people blame school violence on video games. But anyways, interesting topic. Same people keep posting the same things, but it was funny to read for a while.

While that may be true, you realize that everyone has their preferences, do you agree with that?

And in general, So what if someone finds some particular characteristics of a race more/less attractive? Doesn't make them a racist; personally I find all types of women attractive, but I find south Asians most attractive, so I suppose the other's are relatively less attractive, but I'm definitely not a racist by any means.

BTW the second part of this post is not really directed at you.
