Remember, these are just links. No pictures until you click the link. Now ask yourself in which order do you click the links?

Everybody has their own order. That's my point. The penis preference.

I know you won't believe me when I say this, but I seriously have no preference. For me there's no heirarchy. Do I tend to see more hot white chicks than I do black or brown or asian? absolutely, but that's only because black people are a minority where I live and because TV and other stuff bombards me with images of hot white people to pander to the majority which is white.

I honestly don't have any preference at all. Hot is hot. The only features I look for are: soft, feminine face, good body.

"The only thing I can think of" my ass. I call bullshit on this assumption based 'theory'. So instead I'll do the same and offer mine.

My guess is it's not testosterone levels since on average, Black women benefit from increased sizes of things that are scientifically proven to appeal to men and their sexual desires. Those being bigger breasts, hips, thighs and ass. Black women usually have larger such areas and are more hour glass figured, or more voluptuous. Such figures are not only biologically more attractive to men, but also better for child birth.

So the question is why then are more men less attracted to Black women (me included)? I think it's to do with socially induced stereo types, accepted opinions and prejudices. From a young age we're constantly, through media, nurture and other things shown what is more attractive or societies more 'ideal' look. And the vast majority of the time it ain't Black. Heck even the famous attractive Black girls on TV aren't really Black, not in the darkest sense anyway. These days they look more half-caste or brown than deep traditional African Black.

There's still an element of racism attached in all of it. I know because it's still prevalent among Asians. Heck, I grew up with it. The fairer the more attractive, the Blacker, the less attractive, less higher class, poorer, less educated etc. You go to Bangladesh and watch some TV. Every beauty advert is about how it can magically turn you from dark to fair and make you that much more attractive and beautiful as a result. It DISGUSTS me.

In typical sexist fashion, for some reason this is only extenuated with women. With Men, I guess because women tend generally to either be less shallow/fussy or have less choice, skin colour isn't as much of an issue.

Luckily media's portrayal of Black men, and the general stereo type is that whilst they may be many things less, what they do make is good lovers, good dancers, better body types, bigger penises, more smooth lovers and so forth and so forth (a lot of it probably true), hence why Black men are less likely to be stung with the same negatives.

This shadeism is prevalent in a lot of asian countries. All over the world really. Saw a documentary about it in Jamaica and Haiti. This white standard of beauty needs a paradigm shift. Here's a good short documentary about shadeism.

I find beautiful and uglies in all races. How can you dismiss one race of women when there are so many to choose from. They all don't look alike. It's just illogical to me. So yes, I do think there is some kind of prejudice/racial factor that one has been conditioned since childhood. Whether that be through the media, their families, their community that eventually shapes their preferences. Doesn't help that a shit load of countries in the world tries to emulate everything American.

Gabrielle Union..hngggggggg. I love her. So black women and asian men are the least desirable in America. I see how it is. That's cool. We should get together and make some beautiful blasian babies. Holla.

I like women of all ethnicities and skin color but I've really only been attracted to one dark black woman before and thats Trina McGee while she was on Boy Meets World. The type of black girl I prefer is more like Stacey Dash usually. Gabrielle Union doesn't count as she's part Filipino.

Pretty much the same in Korea albeit with bigger disparities in between those races. Korea's the only asian country I've been to but it can be pretty bad here sometimes, especially when you're black (i.e. me)
details, please.

From what I've seen in Korea, no foreigner is safe. I've had people spit at me for walking with a korean girl and antagonize the girl as well. I've heard many similar accounts as well from different races. They gon hate :<
aw hell man. :-(

this shit will never die.

how much "black" do you have to have in you in order to qualify as "black" in your world? curious question.

also, are any of these people:

gabrielleuniondwyanewad.jpg

"black"? I presume they all have mixed heritage of varying measure.

You're suggesting that everyone has a sexual preference for a certain ethnicity. That's a broad stroke you're painting with, and on NeoGAF alone there are probably thousands of users--I'll be the first--to say it's not true in their case.

So there's no race, on average, you find less attractive than other races?

If so, then I have never seen anyone else like you.

Edit - I guess there's a few like you in this thread. I've never seen anyone IRL like that though.

Odd.

Least desirable according to some useless fucking poll, so far from actual fact.

Jettison that shitty internet poll into the unknown and bask in the glory of beautful women.

Race should not be a HUGE part of your identity. Cultural concerns are understandable, but if I'm black or brown, and a jew, then why the hell should I be considered undesirable just because of my color? this problem is actually dealt with in the middle east as jews of european descent discourage their children from marrying or associating with browner jews.
cultural concerns are understandable, so how is it different from say, being undesirable because you're simply not jewish(no race involved)?

Yeah, I'm saying exactly that. If you haven't seen anyone else like me, you're not meeting the right people!

EDIT: SOMEONE needs to look at the moderator's warning on the OP about posting pics and edit that shit stat. I ain't naming names.

For some of us, it's like music. R&B, Classical, Jazz, Alternative. They all sound good to the ears of some of us here. So long as the music is good, we're good. This month, I've played Trombone Shorty, Kanye West, Daft Punk and Arcade Fire in equal measure.

In the same way, some of us have been taught (or have learned) to see the unique beauty in all shades of people from chocolate to pale. Perhaps it required some exorcising of some miseducation and poor assumptions along the way.

Your mileage may vary.

Fair enough. So would you say it's more of a "look" thing for you? As in, if they could pass as what you think of as "black", then they are? And if they appear to have some sort of mix, then they aren't really "black"?

or is it something else?

Eh, I'm able to find beauty in all ethnic groups, but whatever... I'm done arguing about it. In terms of black women, my friend is pretty freaking gorgeous IMO:

Best thing of all? There's two of her:

VPhys is impressed.

And to whoever posted Stacey Dash, I swear that woman gets better looking as she gets older.

surely I'm not the only bro who's had a thing for Jennifer Hudson

very different because it's fucking stupid. If EVERYTHING ELSE is in harmony with you, family values, religion, etc. then whether the person is black or brown should be irrelevant. Race should not be central to one's identity. If I don't follow a certain religion I can convert. If I don't eat certain foods, dress in a certain way or have certain values, I can change especially if I'm married to someone with those values, they will influence me and our children over time. If I'm black I can't change that. You should be able to accept the fact that I'm black and not make a big deal about it. If literally EVERYTHING else matches up, then there should be no problem but yet there is. There are people out there who come up with bullshit reasons why they don't want their children to date outside their race.

Why? because of negative connotations which are mired in ignorance that are placed among races. Many people STILL believe that by nature black people are less intelligent or hard working. And they fear that their child will carry those traits and be a failure and drag down their family name or some shit like that. Some are more upfront and just admit its because of race and others beat around the bush looking for frankly insignificant reasons(height, weight, one thing that was done at an earlier time etc.)

you have excellent taste.

Mine was Lark Voorhies (sp?) from Saved By The Bell and Topanga from Boy Meets World.

I just couldn't get enough.

edit: man, J. Hudson is looking so good these days.

I'm going anecdotal, I know, but I really know nobody IRL that has no sexual preference. I'm thinking of everyone in my head.

Me - White women
Dad - White women
Mom - White men
Brother - Hispanic women
Sister - White men
Uncle #1 - White women
Uncle #2 - Who knows, I've never seen him date anyone, he's odd (in more ways than just this). Come to think of it, I don't know if he's straight. I've been told someone in my family is gay, but was never told who. It's gotta be him.
Philipino friend - White women
Black friend #1 - Japanese women (he's very very strict about this, moreso than anyone I've ever seen, calls himself Kenzo instead of his real first name, Brian)
Black friend #2 - White women
White friend #1 - White women
Girl I'm trying to hook up with - White men

All my grandparents preferred their own race.

Sure, all this is really anecdotal, but I really can't think of anyone IRL that is totally indifferent.

Toni Braxton still looks good for her age but mid 90's Toni was amazing.

[IMGww.starpulse.com/news/media/tonibraxton2.jpg[/IMG]

Oh man, there was a Vibe Toni Braxton cover that pretty much put her on the map for me. It was so stinkin hawt. There's so few brown people on major tv shows and movies. I actually like Tyler Perry stuff because of it. I don't have names of the current girls in media I like, but Zoe, Kerry Washington, etc. are two.

I loved Lark Voorhies (don't google a recent pic though... your childhood will be crushed)
Topanga not so much, she had a real weird face.

Denise Huxtable was the queen though.

I can imagine that might be an interesting quandary for our Indian brothers and other APA's.

There was a Indian/white girl in my high school that looked/acted black.

She was treated like a black girl.

p.s.

She was incredibly attractive and I completely blew my chance with her.

amazing...just because the findings aren't politically correct it's trolling
i'm not surprised personally, i've always had the opinion that black men > white men and white women > black women
white guy here btw

speaking as someone whose only esposue to black woman has been through the media and seeing one immigrant woman trying to sell me some shit on the street:

I do find black woman atarctive, it's just that they have to have certain physical characteristic like a slim body, a not to big nose and lips, a rather straight face etc, skin tone and hair texture doesn't realy matter

in short:
melrose-place-jessica-lucas10.jpg

god yes

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1775091/
not in a million years (can't find a decend picture, so I got the imdb link, remembered her from a Lie to Me episode I watched recently, where she stood out to me as being rather ugly, like ugly ugly, not just tv "ugly")

I guess I used a bad example as I have no clue as to the extent of her mixed heritage.

I have some white in my blood (and I bet quite a few other black people as well haha), Jamaican too, but you can't really tell. In America Black is Black, White is White.

Pointless argument as it's all down to opinion but what I will say is that some of the most beautiful women in the world are not white.

Honestly I think a large part of this is a social divide. Everyone finds their own culture somewhat attractive so therefore look for women(or men) who were raised in their own or similar culture before looking outwards. People looking for people that are similar to them.

I hate black culture so I'm fucked
Not literally:(

She was cute, but as she got older, her face kinda became too big or wide. I dunno. I'd still hit it.

I've seen enough. Been to Africa visited tribes there(did nothing for me although I did find it kinda interesting on a historical level), listened to enough rap music to last a life-time, not an ass person or large breasts, hate idealization of ghetto society, hate to dance. Yea I'm done.

Being an otaku and video-game fan is a niche portion of any race but for blacks it's even smaller.

Based on dating site surveys, black women are the most desperate for men and the most ignored by men. White men are most desired by women and ignore more women since they can be picky.

Since these people were relatively young and better educated than the general population, but there was still a strong bias against black women, it stands to reason that for some reason men (including black men) are just less likely to find black women attractive. It could be a cultural thing or something else, but that's what's happening.

That's obviously on a large population basis. Individuals could and often do find individuals of any race attractive. But as a general trend, black women have it rough and white men have it easy.
thats really fucking stupid, i really don't get this, black females won't attract certain races, just like white female don't attract other races. I also can't believe you use online dating surveys for this argument. lol

Whoa...that is an extremely narrow and uninformed view of black culture. But hey, you've visited some random tribes in Africa, so you're validated!

Sigh. Grandmother has a doctorate on African Art. Gone through her books, visited multiple tribes, watched documentaries on said tribes, not a fan of rap music in general nor rap society. Please tell me what I'm missing.
