Hate to break it to you, but WC3 was continued (and finished really) in WoW. The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King were direct continuations of the story threads begun in WC 3.

Lol, no chance. If there is ever a W4, it will continue WoW story. No way they'll go back to where it ended in early 2000s and ignore everything that happened since then.
