Bloodborne on pc now boots via emulator

Says the troll who follows me so much he's been on ignore till now.
You put me on ignore for that time I utterly annihilated you in the Alan Wake 2 thread. Everyone else was mocking you for how stupid, annoying, and disingenuous you were. You made a fool of yourself, got butthurt and decided to block me like I gave a damn.

I'll keep calling out your hypocritical clownish behavior.

I point you on ignore for being a dense acting troll.

If I'm a console warrior what does this make you?
Your post history speaks for itself.
Acting like your shit don't stink.

Neo-geo can't do CPS2 quality games nor the fidelity some saturn exclusives like Golden Axe: The Duel offer for example.
Could you continue this nonsense in the Saturn thread please?

I want to tell you how Golden Axe's animation is at the same level as the earliest Neo-Geo stuff and how it pales in comparison to later titles. And how the Saturn wouldn't be able to have more animation frames anyway because of it's measly RAM.

But i don't want to derail the thread any further.

You put me on ignore because you got destroyed. I can dig up the old thread so everyone can have a laugh at you again.

Literally going "no, u". And please, bring up my post history by all means. Then we can bring yours up and all wonder how the fuck you haven't been banned yet. Fucking troll.

I was getting crazy thread notifications. Sad to see it's back and forth about the same, tired arguments.
On a positive note, it's nice to see the game is basically 80-90% there. I mean, you can complete the game on emu with it looking better than it does on PS5.
That speaks volumes.

I told you why and I mentioned your post history.

Must be a compression issue like you and a few others saying in this thread I had a issue with people playing Bloodborne on PC when I didn't.

Don't wanna derail but keep arguing your point?

I'm done with that talk in this thread.

Yet you didn't cite a single example and I did. Funny, huh? It's because you ain't got shit and are trying weak whatsboutism.

I'm done with that talk in this thread.

Thank you.

The bottom line being that my argument is the one that's ethically consistent, whereas the opposite view forces all kinds of moral gymnastics to defend!
This is how I see it:

For years now, I've been gaming exclusively on PC because I decided to invest on a SINGLE gaming ecosystem, and I thought that PC was the one with the most options. I shall NEVER buy a console ever again. Thus, any company which will make a game exclusive on a console won't get my money. So, if emulation gives me the option of playing a game that I would never buy otherwise, I'll take it.

In any case, the console maker won't be getting money from me. If they would put their game on Steam? I would buy it. But I won't, until they do.

So me emulating games does not make them lose money, because I was never willing to give them money to begin with.

It's like me watching a movie at a friend's house which I would never otherwise rent or go to the movies to watch. I'm not costing the studio money because I was never intending to give them money in the first place.

Just gave it a spin. It's freakin' amazing. Still got a lot of quirks to iron out such as the sound fx crashing on Intel CPUs without the proper patch and you sometime get frame time spikes, but otherwise, the visuals, responsiveness, and experience are all top notch.

Very soon, this will be far and away the best way to play Bloodborne. Just needs a bit more time in the oven.

Edit: This game desperately needs a 60fps update. Gun parries are WAAAY easier to land at 60fps. It's insane how easy they are.

Once Shadps4 is able to run this game flawlessly, I try it out alongside Dragon's Crown Pro and Odin's Sphere Leifthrasir.

ShadPS4's compatibility continues to improve. It now runs Rock Band 4 quite well, a game which never saw a PC release.
Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise (a PS4 exclusive) is now basically fully playable. God of War 3 Remastered boots and gets in-game, but is a bit of a broken mess visually.

You were never going to give them money because you know you could steal it via emulation. Just own it that you support piracy and stop trying to justify it. I wouldn't have an issue with it if you had purchased it and then emulated it, but you are okay with pure theft.

Are you telling me - with a straight face - that you never watched a movie at someone else's place that you would've never paid money to see it in theaters? EVER?

If I was looking for an excuse to pirate games, I wouldn't even buy games from Steam and would just pirate those as well. Instead, I have over 300 games on Steam. And in my PS2/Gamecube/Xbox games, I had around 400 games from these consoles as well, before giving them away once I decided to be on ONE gaming ecosystem.

Trust me, the money that publishers got from me FAR outweigh the money they never lost from games I would've never bought in the first place.

Nope never said that I didn't come on a public forum and publicly acknowledge I steal stuff and seem to be proud of it. Just keep it to yourself next time

Okay, now you're just talking out of your ass and put words inside my mouth, probably because you are generalizing. I never claimed to be 'proud' or displayed any sort of 'pride' in not paying for those games. I merely stated my reasons on why I no longer support any more than ONE gaming ecosystem. I only game on PC and I refuse to buy any product on a different ecosystem. My decision has nothing to do with piracy and everything about me wanting to have my gaming library on a single machine.

If Nintendo ports their Metroid games to Steam tomorrow, I would be more than happy to buy Metroid Dread and never use the emulated version on Yuzu ever again. Would do the same with every single Vanillaware game. It's not my fault that Kamitami grows warts the second he thinks about it.

Wow amazing gameplay, wait for swing, dodge, chip away at boss for 10 mins with the same attacks until dead, if it catches you one or two shot kill.

I'm hoping P.T will be playable soon.

The "P.T. Emulation 1.4" PC recreation is fine but still only about 80% there.

Plus, the demo is held hostage to whatever PS4's still have it installed.

Sorry bud but piracy isnt the same as stealing. Those are simple facts.

And to equate emulation with stealing..smh man.

You should still be able to download it through a proxy if you have it tied to your account

Never said it was please read what I wrote. He specifically said he was never going to buy those games so instead he used emulators. I personally use emulators as well but I do buy my games. Emulating doesn't mean piracy.

Fuck me, it's in much better stare than I thought.

Yeah, I said it a few weeks ago, it runs really well for the most part. Still some kinks to iron out such as some visual bugs and instability on certain configs, but it runs way smoother and is far more responsive than on PS4. The parries are so much easier to land at 60fps.

Is it playable from start to finish without any major bugs already? Might play it sooner rather than later if that's the case!

So, what's left? Seems like it's all done and running great.

I'm an atheist, but still, God bless the people that work on this or any emulators. The true MVPs.
I'm gonna think it's best to wait until people report little to no bugs and/or crashes. Last I checked it out it was crashing in the character creator for me.
