Screw you man, I want a cheap Cintiq alternative.rdf effect is growing strong.
I sincerely hope they don't do anything stylus related in an official capacity.
Hey! Why are you guys all excited about a stylus NOW, but like a few pages back when I asked about it you thought I was dumb!?
hence the one word responseYou can safely ignore Garbaga...this was from the BGR Samsung S3 Thread:
I always wanted a stylus. I have one for my iPad now. But for an iPad to implement one successfully, it would need to be a pressure-sensitive and extremely precise stylus-enabled screen. I'd like to see one for when I want to take hand-written notes. The bootleg stylus solutions for iPads are just that: bootleg.
If I can get an iPad designed to work well with a stylus, I can finally sell/retire my TabletPC. I only use it for designs and for OneNote.

There was some kickstarter project that used a dongle connected to the 30-pin connector slot and paired with a pen via bluetooth that would enable pixel perfect pen input:

I'm ok with an Apple branded stylus as long as its optional. I won't buy one, though.
Why? A number of platforms already offer this.AppleTV with some kind of App Store would destroy the world.
I would think about it for note taking in meetings at work. Take notes and have it convert it to a google doc or PDF or something.
If they thought about it properly, they could have it as seamless and optional as the Smart Cover. With all the functionality of a Cintiq. Then Wacom would be like FUUUU and start pulling their finger out. That company needs some damn competition.I'm ok with an Apple branded stylus as long as its optional. I won't buy one, though.

It wouldn't be a slap in Steve's dead face.
They'd do it like they're always doing it.
"blah blah In the past, the stylus sucked big time, because of this this and this.
But we finally made it usable, blah blah.
Here's our magical iPeen and it does it better than everyone else.
$89, go and get it, bitches."
A stylus for a phone is a dumb idea, Steve was right on that. A tablet though is a different thing. I'd be a very happy man if they announce some sort of (quality) stylus support.
Game over? For the console manufacturers? I don't think so.I'd be all fucking aboard if it was an official Apple gamepad.
The fucking iOS app store (on Apple TV) + traditional games. Jesus christ. Game over.
I'm willing to bet that they will release them around the same time Mountain Lion comes out (summer) if not slightly earlier.Looks like we won't be getting New Macbook Pro's this March ;_;
Well that's that.jpg
Was anyone else reminded by the rumored name of the iPad pre-reveal by that article title? "iSlate" seemed so much better than "iPad" at the time.
Oh man.
No home button?
With the sort of market Apple has in hands, I can see all major publishers jumping in. And the app store, due to its sheer size, it's wonderful in terms of pricing, promotions etc, so yeah it's hard to see myself keeping the support to old console manufacturers if that happens.Game over? For the console manufacturers? I don't think so.
No home button?
Or upside down.Horizontal.
Oh man.

Re: the stylus, I get why some people want an official one, but to me the appeal if the iPad is predicated on touch. It also becomes weird if the app store ends up divided between apps intended for a stylus vs touch, etc. I doubt they would do it anyway.
Oh man.
Galaxy note?
Hmmm.... maybe;Either that's a really small finger or the icons are massive....
