Bojack Horseman Season 4 Trailer

This is the best show on TV right now. I'm hopeful that they can continue to pull it off on season 4.

Rick and Morty is funny, but BoJack is on another level.

it's kind of rote but someone mentioned Rick and Morty and ever since then I've been trying to figure out which show has the best secondary characters. it's hard.

Rick and Morty has the interdimensional angle but bojack has so many good, grounded, fucking depressing characters.

Rick and Morty for existential despair, Bojack for interpersonal despair.

Like chocolate and Mr. Peanutbutter

I actually gasped at the part in the trailer where
Mr. Peanutbutter pushes Diane against a wall and angrily growls. Domestic abuse storyline?!

I'm shook.

Same here. I'm actually sad already just thinking about this plot. At least Todd's getting wacky adventures in. And Judah's back! I like that guy.

Already on the 8th of September. Can't wait, I really love the show and all the characters. Amazing how serious the show can be, but on the other hand totally funny.

I can't stand it whenever he does that.

*Bojack does something terrible*

Bojack: "I'm so shitty for doing that and that's why everyone doesn't like me. I suuuuuck."

*does more terrible things*

It's a vicious cycle.

That's what drives me to BoJack. He wants to be a good person, but he just can't help himself. As opposed to Rick, who only looks out for number one and doesn't give a rat's ass about who he hurts (but is too hilarious to hate).

Have there been any cross promotional literature related to Bojack? I remember when Simpsons Mania ruled back in the early 1990's, and they would periodically release cross sectional books that explored the family's personal lives, as well as Springfield.

I think 4 seasons in, enough groundwork has been laid in terms of the show's mythos and world building to justify supplemental books. I know that DK publishing has done numerous guides based on Star Wars, James Bond, Marvel, and DC Comics, and have in recent years given the same myth worshipping treatment to a select group of video game franchises, the most recent being on the Assassin's Creed series.

I would love to see a DK Publishing guide based on the many denizens of Hollywoo. You could have detailed dossiers on Bojack and the main cast, and then branch out to supporting characters, and delving into the show's most important locales -- such as Vigor Enterprises, Bojack's home, the set of Horsin' Around, etc.. At the very least, it would be a great showcase of Lisa Hanawalt's talent as an artist.

In any case, I'm surprised that the creative staff hasn't bothered to publish anything based on this show.

Yeah, R&M is absurdity - which is really fun. BoJack on the other hand successfully walks that line between earnest and funny which makes it brilliant.

I finished rewatching season 3 in prep for season 4 and there are still quite a few breakout moments then that I look forward to being covered in this season.
