Badass.

them wrestling poses

Yeah I'm definitely bummed that they now seem to be continuing the slide back into formula mode for Bond. It was expected after how successful Skyfall's nostalgia button was, but it's disappointing to me.

Excited for Seydoux and Craig is looking great. The locales also sound fantastic. Lots of globe-trotting.

Give Joe Wright a motherfucking Bond film already.

We are talking outside the movie, not what the character did. Everyone knows Waltz is Blofeld, just acknowledge it. Now a year of question dodging from Eon ala JJ Abrams.

Anybody with half a brain and any knowledge of Bond can figure it out based on the title. You don't always need to be told something straight up.

Oh, and as I posted on the last page - confirmation of Waltz' character is the final nail in the coffin of the "bond is a codename" theory.

Christoph Waltz is Oberhauser, the son of the man written about in fleming's novels who acted as a mentor to Bond after his parents died in a skiing accident. Bond travels to the alps in SPECTRE to visit him upon a request (according to the leak, which is obviously legit as everything else was true). Obviously he's not going to really be Oberhauser's son at all, but Bond has a personal connection with the Oberhausers due to his childhood.

Now if that wont stop the crazy codename theory once and for all, nothing will.

anything else than spectre and blofeld? I dont mind that, although I didnt like the nostalgia elements in skyfall either, they just didnt make that much sense. I hope that wont happen with blofeld.

I think skyfall did that plenty

But saying as much dillutes the typical /Film speculation articles and obvious questions towards Eon and Co.

Agreed on all points.

I wouldn't really have a problem with this at all if it wasn't Sam Mendes. I don't really fancy how he approached the characters and story in Skyfall, and if this is more of the same it'll be a waste of the super talented cast and crew assembled. If it's something different, I don't think a cheesier Craig Bond is automatically a bad thing. I'm just not convinced Mendes is the right man for this sort of job.

I hope they have a long term plan for this (why I brought up the two part script). I doubt they will re-do OHMSS but taking the element of Bond learning to love (or in this case love again) is pretty interesting. Especially if they use Belucci as his love interest over two films. Belluci dies like Tracy died and it's Craigs final 007 film moment.

I'm honestly not that excited either. I want the Quantum plot, not the introduction of Spectre and Blofeld.

I like the locations they're shooting at and I'm excited about M, Q, Batista and Lea Seydoux. The rest, not so much. And Sam Mendes directing again scares me.

The car looks absolutely stunning but not one I think will become iconic.

I just want more stuff like Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.

Nah. Furious 7 is going to be the biggest boxoffice hit ever made.

maybe in the US. Worldwide? I very much doubt it will beat Bond

so it's really called SPECTRE. Colour me impressed, that's unusually straightforward and simple. Don't know what to think about it yet

What is this Khan thing?

- Cast a major actor as a villain with an unassuming name
- Furiously deny rumours that he's actually playing an iconic villain from the series' past
- Have dramatic scene where the identity is revealed that falls flat because most of the people in the audience have no idea who the iconic villain who hasn't been on screen for 30 years is

Ahh, gotcha.

Fixed.

if they give him a cat it should work

Craig Bond is a reboot, so the codename theory is not over, just snoozing until next Bond kicks in

Best cliffhanger / next movie teaser in recent history aka
Statham
and a dead actor in his last movie? The movie is going to be as huge as CM Punks staph infection.

Spectre needs to perform on Skyfall level to be bigger.
