Bow Wow caught faking luxury on twitter. #bowwowchallenge is born

1990s kid in me is sad Lil Bow Wow has to do this.

The bow wow challenge photos are all deliberate setups but bow wow's photos were not purposely faked, just found off google images.

Granted, that doesn't make this any less hilarious, but he didn't actually *lie* from what I've seen.

People are paying Bow Wow more than they are paying most people in 2017. If he's broke it's because he's wasting it or has a lot of debt.

I wasn't under the impression Bow Wow was an alien unfamiliar with a human's common senses. Although in hindsight he has never claimed to be human, so maybe we should all be giving him more benefit of the doubt.

People dogging the Italian meal and I friggin' laughed. It was obviously not a serious entry in the mix but it fit as the reveal. Sure it missed the point and relied on context but fuck, I laughed harder at it than anything else on the first page.

Lighten up (I know I'm hours late).
 
Bow wow is an all lives matter guy and doesn't get the black struggle because he's ''biracial''.

Posting it is a play on the Fake Luxury meme because rather than use two images, the text of the original Italian meal post which we all implicitly associate with the image serves as the misdirect, rather than a separate image contrived to mislead.

It's funny because it's not Fake Luxury. It's funny because God's Beard unwittingly participated in the Fake Luxury meme without intending to. Bow Wow was trying to trick people, God's Beard was being sincere; yet both images had the same effect: "Look how luxurious my life is!!!11!!" "No it fucking isn't fool!"

That's why it's relevant, that's why it's in-joke gold, and whether you find it funny or not, smfh at anyone who doesn't get why it belongs in this thread.

I honestly don't really understand the joke. I only remember someone posting it in a thread from a while ago to show the delicious meal they were having. People said it looked good. But that was it.

Just posting a picture of an ugly and overpriced meal to start misses the whole point of a clever misrepresentation. There is nothing clever about the $30 Italian meal. You have to look at the $30 Italian Meal in the context of a forum. A thread title that says somebody spent $30 on a meal for 1 makes you think that the food is going to be very good. When you click into the thread and so see what was actually delivered you think "WTF?"
That fits perfectly with this meme. Just because it's a different medium doesn't mean it's not a relevant joke.
 
I perceived the Italian Meal post as poking fun at 2008 God's Beard and what his BowWow challenge entry would look like.

I think it's actually quite clever. I chuckled.
 
guys i really need to let you know i get the in-jokes and remember the things that happened on this forum. i am similar to you all and very much belong here as a member of this group called gaf. i would be uncomfortable if any of you were to consider me as part of some other group thought of as outside of this one. please accept me as one of your own. thanks in advance
