Delicious...

What is your dough recipe? I was gonna ask for it a bit ago but you got a timeout lol :p

Yeah man. Shit was scary. i was walking to the metro station and I crossed the crosswalk with the right of way and this old lady fucking ran the red light and smacked me across the street. Eyewitnessed saw, called the ambulance and the rest is history. Although I'm surprised I had my 3DS in my pocket and it survived the impact. My then glasses however, didn't lolol

Little old ladies.
Killers of young men everywhere.
Wait. Did they catch her? I am assuming so as you know she is an old lady or you saw her as you flew over the car. Was it just a mistake or did she have a fucking stroke and gun the gas?

My 3ds hasn't suffered a car wreck but it has been slammed in a house door, stepped on, dropped down concrete steps and its still kicking.

Yeah she stopped. She was cited for breaking the speed limit, running a red light, etc

lawsuit ensued lol

I hate you I hate you I hate you
I love you

Fuck man that shit is legit, pretty much sounds almost exactly like David Gilmour. When did you start playing and how long do you usually practice for? Whenever I see vids like this I get jealous as fuck because my playing is nowhere near as good.

I got my first guitar 7 years ago. The first two years I played a lot. The next I played quite a lot. The last year I've played really embarrassingly little. I barely have hardened skin on my fingers. But I'm about to turn that around! :)

I never really was much of a "practicer" - I would just play. If there was something technical I couldn't do, I could just practice it for two hours straight. Mostly I just played what I felt interested me, and learnt what I wanted to be able to play. I was never the sort of "I am going to practice this technique for half an hour, then I will do this" etc. I just had fun. Never had a teacher, too. Autodidact ftw.

Dude, listening to your Shine on you crazy diamond solo right now. Damn good.

I imagine your alot better these days since that was from 07?

Yeah, Marooned is in a different league, and SOYCD could've been a lot better had I done it today. I want to work on my vibrato, though. Just the last hints of nuances and variation to really take the whole thing home. And I want to work on my guitar's sound a lot, too. I've built 3 effects I have yet to really sit down and have fun with. And a brand new guitar.

I'm really looking forward to being able to have spare time, now. The last 4 years I've been a student and I've always had studies or my neglected side-job hanging over me. Now I've started a full time position, which means I can actually go home and leave work at work when I leave. I'm already starting to feel inspired to spend some quality time with my guitar. And all of the nice comments I've gotten here really just inspire me further.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone! :>

Found new things to brag about:
Shaved head.
Semi-short.
Chill as a leopard seal.
Hairy chest like Gorilla.
Roam the jungle in free time.

So, I met this girl from school and she is the best friend of a girl i went out with.
Years later, after we broke up, the girl started talking to me, who now lives in New York.

Last week, I actually convinced her to fly out from New York and stay with me, she said yes during the summer.
Turns out she decided to surprise me and fly out THE NEXT DAY. She snuck away, made some excuse to her parents (strict muslim parents) ((I'm catholic lol)) and we spent a few days together. She then flew back.

I feel very good.

Also noteworthy
- went from 260 to 215.
- Got a good job with great co-workers and bosses
- I'm a senior with a double major.
- In the Honors Society

I weaseled my way through college, have no idea what i actually did there and landed a really awesome job the other day (I was deliberately jobless for the last six months, started applying for jobs two weeks ago, nobody cared about what i did for half a year lol) .

Just wondering, I always got the impression you were like 19 so I figured that's a pretty good apartment for so young.

Hahahaha, I'll make sure to make more mature posts that'll do justice to my real age.

Wtf is wrong with you. That lightbulb... BLAAAAAAAAARGHHHHHHH

The ceiling is all flat!!!'

I know :(
The other half of the room is the living room (directly in front of the bench) and it's still fairly barren. I need to get a wall unit built (including a bar in the corner) and then I'll see exactly how I want the lighting and do a false ceiling. Got to save up more though before I do that.

What job was it? How'd you "weasel" in?

I studied automotive engineering (not an A+ student, i "weaseled" so god damn hard to pass all the courses - it's not even funny anymore), somehow wrote my final thesis at the institute for forensic pathology (witch is quite the unusual thing to do in my field).
Two weeks ago, i called a guy who wrote his PhD, at the time, at the same institute - he works in the industry now, so i'll work in the field of "passive safety" for BMW come june.

It's like everything just happend out of pure luck for me (passing most of my courses, final thesis, job)- but now that i think about it, i don't know if that's something to brag about lol.
