Im not sure why this is surprising, they talked about a new system and are releasing a new iteration of the one currently out. Those 2 points alone would kick their numbers up above sony.

Whats more surprising is UBI getting more traffic then Sony

Probably 1.5k of those are people being confused about if they need an Xbox vs an S vs a Scorpio.

They announced a new console. That kind of announcement is always going to get more mentions due to less gaming-centric sources picking it up. Less gaming but more tech-based sources, too.
