Why not?Don't buy the hardcover set though. It's worth it.

Calvin and Bob?
I want a Spaceman Spiff game.
Edit: Better yet, a T-Rex-in-fighter-jet game.
The truest truth that ever truthed.Calvin and Hobbes is like the best thing of all time, ever.

Maybe we could make a rule stating Calvin and Hobbes is permanently on topic. I'd be fine with that.
Calvin and Hobbes is like the best thing of all time, ever.
That sucks. Buying the paperback edition of a nice big box set like that feels all wrong. They didn't do a good job binding it.
Calvin: Do you believe in the Devil? You know, a supreme evil being dedicated to the temptation, corruption, and destruction of man?
Hobbes: I'm not sure man needs the help.
Calvin: You just can't talk to animals about these things.
Calvin and Hobbes is like the best thing of all time, ever.
Apparently the hardcover set is hard to actually use.
I have the soft cover and it is wonderful.

I had Calvin and Hobbes, Far Side and Bloom County as a kid. No wonder I turned out weird.
What's with the fascination of Calvin and Hobbes?

I think. I also liked the fan art of and adult Calvin waving to his daughter as she walks away with Hobbes.
This comic was also wonderfully demented when it seemed like other comic strips were just too wholesome. It somehow makes it even more wholesome...
Skimmed the thread and didn't see this mentioned:

It's a Calvin & Hobbes search engine. Really helpful for finding a specific strip.
Did you guys actually find these comics funny as kids?

At least those are better than the attempted "sad" strip.
You are out of your mind. Calvin and Hobbes tackle depressing topics so intelligently. There are no other strips I can think of that can compare.
I'm pretty sure he's referring specifically to the fake strip where Calvin ignores Hobbes, not sad C&H strips in general.
