I think people just spy indiscriminately on anything they can world wide and hope to blindly find something, while targeting important people directly...

Not sure you can really say its a bit of a leap anymore.

We know that Microsoft were one of the first adherents to Prism.

We know that the intelligence agencies have monitored chatter in World of Warcraft and Xbox Live.

Only just yesterday, we have been told that they have accessed Yahoo webcam footage.

So, it may be a leap but it's not much of one.

You should contact Microsoft and ask considering your stature.

That's actually an argument for why they shouldn't just use giant vacuums to suck up everything in perpetuity rather than focus on the most likely threats.
