Yeah and it's a shame. I was having fun with it but I think I'll wait for a patch before continuing. Staying <15 fps for an entire level really hinders the experience.
That's the game I voted for. Oh well.AAC should have won![]()
Laden with them. Had to uninstall. Couldn't cope with it.
T,other one. Galak-Z is it. Love it
Meh, I uninstalled Galak-Z actually. Pretty boring game, the art and animations are just awful too.
Still rather play Broforce even with the issues.
Genre probably helped.
I'm a big space games fan regardless

Your not alone I LOVE Galak-Z.
Assault Android Cactus is really a technical marvel when it comes to Unity. The developer put a LOT of work into smoothing out visual and performance hiccups common to most other games.
The extra time in Early Access and then the many months since official 1.0 launch on PC definitely made sure the PS4 port is A+. Was very glad to see they didn't rush it.

Because every single time you start a level, and I mean EVERY SINGLE TIME, including when you die and it restarts you, after about 5 seconds of playing the game you will lose all control of the character for about a second and they will just stand there. Note that the game does not stop, you only lose control of the character and thus, can totally die.
Galak-Z is a lot of fun, I love the episodic style gameplay. It's like playing a Saturday morning cartoon.
Yep, Cactus runs perfectly fine tooAAC should have won![]()

I'm sure Broforce won the IGC for the month based on name alone because honestly Assault Android Cactus doesn't sound great in name but boy is it an awesome twin stick shooter.
The art tries to represent space cartoons/anime and it does a damn fine job.Did my part. Now let's see if anyone else will, or maybe people rather just bitch about it instead of having it actually fixed.
I'm a big space fan too. But the art is fucking terrible, it really does the genre no favors.
It's a PS+ game, what do you expect?

The animation is about as quality as a flash game.
The games incredibly fun, and the only issue which is bothersome is the freeze glitch at the start of a level. But that's easily remedied by just not moving for 5 seconds then no issues going forward.
Unless I've been extremely lucky not to run into these other glitches, sounds like they are overblown.

How can a game that looks like that run like ass? Like how is that possible in 2016?
It's a shame about the bugs because the game is fun when it plays without issues.
