Buffalo Wild Wings or WingStop?

Long story short, I'm craving wings & I'm planning on taking my little bro out to eat. We've been to B-Dubs a few times & enjoyed it, but we've heard good things about WingStop (& the lower price tag is nice). At the same time, less flavors & the uncertainty of the unknown does leave me a bit weary to go all-in. I know this is my second question thread on GAF today, but can you guys help me out?

Never had WingStop, but I still have dreams about the Lemon & Pepper wings from BWW. Too bad the closest BWW is like an hour away from my house.

I'm sure it varies by location, but it feels like WingStop uses less sauce. Of the two, I'd have to go with the other choice. Plus their onion rings aren't bad either.

This topic interests me as well, since they finally bought a Wing Stop to my city a couple months ago.

Haven't been to BWW in years tho, ever since they got rid of 50 cent leg and 30 cent wing special days. It's just too expensive otherwise.

WingStop kind of sucks where I'm at. It just opened too. either too much sauce or rub and there is barely any meat on the wings. Those frozen bags you can get at Sams Club have WAY MORE meat than WingStop. Their seasons fries were terrible too. The seasoning was inconsistent on the fries. Like some had way too much and some none.

Edit: I've been thinking it's probably just bad management here. I remember going in and seeing unswept crap on the floor like nobody cared.

I thought BWW is okay. I had WingStop for the first time a couple weeks ago and the wings tasted good but were really scrawny and dry. As of now is have to say I prefer BWW, but I plan on going to Wing Stop again and try done other things before forming a final opinion.

And as others have said, local places tend to have better wings.

B dubs is great to drink and watch sports with a group of friends, but if I just want food, I'll get WingStop. Most locations have a 3 chicken strip + fries + drink combo for $5.99, and you can have those strips slathered in any one of their wing sauces.

Buffalo Wild Wings is the better of the two. Some of their sauces are pretty good. As a wing lover having no good local options I've been forced to make my own.

I've been to BWW a couple times and the wings are super mediocre and the service isn't great. I know the latter is a variable but I feel like the wings would be mediocre at any location. I've had Wingstop once and it was pretty good.

now I want wings

I'd rather go to a local bar. Better wings, better beer selection, and I don't have to go to whatever mall or otherwise shitty location these places are located in.

For boneless wings and fries, Wingstop is significantly better.

BWW has the whole sports and beer thing going on though.

I prefer bone-in. I've devised methods of getting every last piece of meat off the bone, in 1 bite no less.

It's already been said, but Wingstop's fries are amazing. Best chain restaurant fries I have ever had. I actually prefer their wings to BWW as well, but BWW's wings are good as well. BWW definitely has a better atmosphere though, if that matters any.

Buffalo Wild Wings is like a million times better. There's a Wing Stop and BWW right across the street from each other here, and I've had both more than once.

Haven't been to BWW in ages, but I do enjoy WingStop's wings (bone-in or boneless) and fries when I just want some quick wings to eat for dinner.

BWW does have better sauces I find (less salty than WingStop's) and it's a great place when watching a bunch of sports games but I miss their specials.

Neither hold a candle to Cluck U though... Many of my random Thursdays were spent going there while I was in college at UCSC.

I've loved BWW for years and we got a Wingstop a couple years ago and I hate multiple types of their wings. I've never had bad wings at BWW.

WingStop. Dem sugar coated fries are godlike. I go to B dubs if we're watching sports or tues/thurs.
This! Oh my god, I could eat a whole damn barrel full of those fries and the wings are pretty damn excellent. I recommend hawaiian and garlic parmasan.

I prefer Wingstop, even though they don't sauce them very well. Always dried on when I get home with them.
