Bully, Catherine & more coming to XB1 Backwards Compatibility today

Small point, but man those download speeds make PS4 look like a joke now...150Mbps on my 200Mbps line, Bully (~3GB) was done in like 4 minutes.

I think back to when I opened my One on launch night...Microsoft has performed miracles to turn that box around with stuff like that and BC.

Bully Scholarship Edition?

One of the first game I bought digitally on Xbox once I found out BC was a thing.

Is there any way to check if a game is tied to Gold or I actually bought it?

I know for sure I bought Raskulls back then and is there, but Bully is also on my list and I don't remember buying it.

Dang, those are some good games. I know the reasons why they haven't but I really wish Sony would do something. This feature is killer, I'll probably pick up an XB1 someday just for it.

I bought Bully a loongg time ago digitally but never could get into it. Now's a good time to give it another chance, I'd reckon.

Glad Catherine is up too. I'm not a fan of the game, but I know many are and watching the competitions was really cool.

Oh man I would have NEVER expected them to bring Catherine to the BC line-up. I imagine that's great news for the Catherine competitive community.

In my 360 library I have about 100 games that don't have current gen remasters, Steam releases, etc (i.e. that are basically not playable if the 360 is discontinued). Of those, it looks like about 28 are BC--which is a great first cut for sure. Hope they keep updating the library over the next 3-4 years to save them all.

360 games aren't tied to Gold period. If you got them, they're yours. They didn't have a PS+ style expiring license implemented until XB1, whose games you can check by seeing if you have a purchase option on the store page still.

Catherine finally. A shame it isn't on sale digitally, but I'll bite anyway due to how happy I am it's available. Bless you MS.

And do Ninja Gaiden 2 and both Earth Defense Force games next.

How does Bully run? I remember it had issues on the 360, abd the PC version still runs like crap on a 1080.

OK we're getting to the point where every game I have an Xbox 360 for is BC on the Xbox One. Pretty solid efforts from MS.

At this point I think I just need Crackdown 1, Tales of Vesperia, and Ace Combat 6.

There's still almost nothing exclusive to the Xbox One I'm interested in, but the fact that I wouldn't lose most of my 360 games by upgrading still makes getting one a bit more enticing.

Has Microsoft talked about BC for Scorpio? I'd seriously consider getting one next year if I could bring over my 360 games. I have both Bully and Catherine.

Uh so... What IS Catherine?

Its one of the games I completely missed last gen but I have no idea wtf im looking at.

Catherine and Clannad! Excellent! Have yet to finish either. This bodes well for Japan-exclusive 360 games coming to BC. I was a little worried since that hasn't happened until now.

I have physical versions of Clannad and NTSC-J Catherine, so I wonder if it'll download both games without issue if I leave my system's region to US.

Both great games, with Bully being my favourite Rockstar game of all-time, and definitely in my top 10 games of all time, and Catherine is easily one of the best games of last generation. If anyone hasn't played these two great games yet, RECTIFY THAT IMMEDIATELY.

You play a twenty something who cheats on his serious girlfriend and starts having nightmares where if he dies there he dies in real life. Structure is basically wake up, unique story events if applicable, go to bar and drink/hang out with buds, send text messages from preset sentences, go home and face the nightmares which are tower block puzzles. Multiple endings and a great story alongside great voice acting (Troy Baker before he was AAA King), top tier soundtrack, etc. At the very least my favorite game of last gen.

Shouldn't cause a problem, I'm using BC to play some games I had on 360 that I was region locked out of.

I never bought Killer is Dead, Catherine and Bully while it were on sale because I thought it would never be on BC, I guess I must let my recklessness guide me next time.

Great update really.. but where on earth are the MS published games like PGR and early Forza...

Keep the updates coming... many more to get done! The BC team are amazing.

I know Catherine regularly shows up for $5 when it goes on sale on PSN

how about for XBL? Willing to double dip on that shit

Maybe I can finally offload my extra sealed Love is Over edition that is in my mom's garage 500 miles away...

This also reminds me that I paid more for the original version of Bully that came with a dodge ball or something. God I wasted so much money on stupid CEs...

Never played Catherine, but I'll put that on my radar.

Just another guy popping in to say Catherine is great. Seriously consider picking this up if you haven't played it. Really glad more people will get a chance to experience it with this, really good stuff.

Cool, thanks. Sounds interesting. Definitely putting it on my radar.

Dug out my old copy of Catherine, popped it in and played it for quite a bit tonight. Loved this game, but never got past the 4th day. I have now passed the 4th day. Making me wish I could play P4G again...
