Ok, the end result is fair enough, but at least hold your horses a bit next time you feel like splooging out your PS3 superiority-speak.

The fact is that those gifs are slowed down so you can tell the difference. If the game chugged along like that I think both ps3 and 360 owners would be appalled.DeadGzuz said:The 360 version before the land looks like it's 13fps. the ps3 gif isn't 60fps. that should tell you something. lets see if it tells you the right thing.DeadGzuz said:The 360 version before the land looks like it's 13fps. Oh god, you're doing it wrong. Ever think that it's more up to the developer and how they go about it?bj00rn said:So much for the hype of the PS3 version, especially from Shane/1UP. Would have been funnier had people said one version looked better than the other using that picture as an example. :loljett said:Um, the second comparison is just one picture posted twice. Thread failure total?
SolidSnakex said:They (Criterion) never once said that the PS3 version was going to be superior because it was the lead platform. Their goal the entire time was to give both sets of gamers the same experience.

Biggest difference for me so far is LT/RT and L2/R2. I just can't get comfortable pressing down the PS2 triggers. :/
I agree completely. Why hope for a gimped version on either side? Just let everyone experience the game.SRG01 said:I hate this whole "superior version" thing. Giving both consoles the same experience is the way it should be.

how many FPS were these gifs captured at?Dot50Cal said:Hows this? (PS3 on left, 360 on right)
DONT HOTLINK
What different stuff do you see (besides the obvious cars in the foreground on the PS3 version)?

could be especially if the announcer guy started rambling about stuff.danwarb said:Is that bit of slowdown in the 360 demo related to the ticker popping in?

doesn't this depend on how the car hit the barrier?Dot50Cal said:Better crash physics on the PS3 ver? (Same speed collision here, same barrier etc) The car doesn't crumple as much on the 360 one. Weird.

Aye, you can crumple the car up just as much in the Xbox 360 demo.pCeSlAyEr said:doesn't this depend on how the car hit the barrier?
even if the angle was just slightly off it should change the type of destruction done to the car.
in this picture I can't see the other half of the car for either system, so they could be the same..
I'd imagine there are all sorts of calculations going on... very difficult to get repeatable results on that one short of being able to set a speed on the car and drive straight on into a wall from a fixed start.pCeSlAyEr said:doesn't this depend on how the car hit the barrier?
