Why is his voice different?

This is sad, but he's not unlike a million other people on the street. I feel bad for all the homeless, especially the veterans. We really should find a way to take care of our war veterans better.

There has been a program going on for a year that the VA launched trying to find homeless veterans and let them know about the benefits they're entitled to. So many of them don't know. Homeless veterans can get a subsidy for housing if they apply for it. I have memorized the toll free number and I hand it out everytime I see a homeless person carrying a sign saying that they're a veteran.
