Anybody here have experience with FreedomPop?
I just switched to them from Ting, and while the customer service is eh, and I had a hell of a time getting it activated (mostly because I wasn't running stock on my GS3), it's really incredible.
So I'll cliffnote; Sprint MVNO, free plan available with 200 minutes/500 texts/500mb of data. They charge for even the most basic services (like voicemail is 2.50, though I just use Google Voice for that), but unlimited talk/text is 11 a month, and their data plans aren't unlimited, but alright.
They also have some ways to earn free data: The goofy referral stuff, which I hate, then stuff like Freedom Friends, which is basically add this person's email and you both get 50 megs.
You can also download their mobile app and get 200 megs for that.
So after comparing it to Ting:
Ting Plan: 100 Minutes, 500 Texts, 500 MBs of Data - 30$
FreedomPop Plan: 200 Minutes, 500 Texts, 1.2 GBs of Data - Free
Suffice to say, if this works as advertised, I'm not going anywhere for a while. Thoughts on em? I was gonna make a thread about it, but figured I'd hit up PrepaidGAF first
