He's probably just vomiting rainbows along with his now rainbow colored guts with the hue of his eyes in rainbow leading him to not be able to see anything black, white, brown etc.,all while loving and hating it at the same time. But he'll be just fine when it's all over.

Reminds me of an MRE I got sometime around 2000 or so that came with a package of M&M's advertising the Olympics in the '80s. I ate them all the same, they were still good.

That said, I bet I'd eaten even older MRE's that just didn't date themselves as obviously as advertising something like that.
