How about 'The Company'? There, Ubisoft saved.
Bloodborne is a real word. HIV is a bloodborne virus for example. In the context of Bloodborne, the title refers to how the plague of beasts is transferred through blood, as well as things like power.Bulletstorm, Battleborn, Bloodborne, Warstorm, Thunderblade, Killzone, Hellblade.
The school of 'take something to do with fighting and bolt another word onto it to make something we can register as a trademark'.
Rise of the Tomb Raider?
"Awesome Possum... Kicks Dr. Machino's Butt!"
________ OF ________. League OF Legends, Heroes OF the Storm, Clash OF Clans, Game OF War, Resonance OF Fate. I don't know why but I almost always dislike titles with the word "of" . There are some good ones though, like Scholar of the First Sin is fine.
At least I know exactly what it's about.
I'm surprised nobody's mentioned this yet:

Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale.
It's awful on all fronts. It is literally just a description of the game with no creativity or though put into it. It's a mouthful to say. Even shortening it to "Playstation All-Stars" is a lot. Its abbreviation is also stupidly long: PSASBR.
It's like they put zero marketing into coming up with a decent title.
It's just nonsense really. Don't worry, neither is the English of the people who came up with it.Can someone explain the meaning of this title? My English is not enough to understand this one.
Even just "Smash Bros 3D" and "Smash Bros U" is better, in my opinion.Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS
I get that they're slightly different games (same roster, mechanics and DLC but different stages and side modes) but couldn't they at least call it "Smash Bros Universe" and "Smash Bros Dimensions"? Not exactly stellar names either but they're better than just "For Wii U/3DS"
Just posting that Under Night has since gotten an update

Looking forward to what letters and symbols are added for the next version.
I like all of those to be honest. And all three actually fit the content of the games.
Resident Evil Revelations. The titular revelations are more like slightly interesting trivia, especially in the first game.

Should make a "Good Video Game Title"-thread instead. Would be a much shorter thread.
Somebody probably brought this up alread but
Divinity: Original Sin 2 takes the price for me. Worst title ever. Like... parody-level bad.
Killzone.
Its the name you give a fake video game in a TV show.
Sounds like more of a summary than a title, lol.![]()

How do you even pronounce XRD? What an abomination of a name.
I hate games with one single English word as title. The other day I learnt about a GAFfer made JRPG with prerendered background called Stasis. Had to use different terms on Google for several minutes before landing on its site.
New Super Mario Bros. 2 is the third New Super Mario Bros. game.
