Can you quote any line from Avatar?

What's with all the talk about Avatar in pop culture lately? By this point every one has heard the "joke" that it wasn't that memorable. I personally loved it but it is in that weird, forgotten about ecosystem we live in. I honestly think it's because comic book movies got so big right after.

I think this latest round is just internet telephone. Someone posts a tweet, which someone else sees and causes them to write a think piece, causing other people to write about it, etc.

And yeah, "I see you," is all I really remember. I did genuinely think the bit where Avatar dude figures out the way to catch the giant pteradon alien thing was to come from above because something its size wouldn't bother looking up a nice bit though.

"Look for the hero inside yourself, Crysta. Look to the good and loving heart in you and all others."

"Many times I'd felt alone, but until this afternoon I'd never felt completely lonely."

"My daughter speaks with the wisdom beyond her years. We've all come here with anger in our hearts, but she comes with courage and understanding. From this day forward, if there is to be more killing, it will not start with me."

I remember that Not-Burke plays putt putt in his office.
I remember Colonel McBadass runs into a vaccuum or poison air or something like that without a suit, but with a giant gun, and he busts off a ton of shots
I remember Jake Sully running through the jungle like Credence Clearwater and almost getting wrecked by a six-legged pantherthing.
Ripley got shot and became DLC for the tree
The last half hour was like a super-fucking-bugshit-nuts riff on Return of the Jedi, but with mechs and dragons instead of ewoks and TIE Fighters.
Not-Vasquez breaks everyone out of the brig, right?

I remember that first real 3D shot, like real real, where there's that deep hallway and it looks like it stretches about a block deep and people are floating around in it and it's nuts as hell. Why directors keep trying to make shit pop out of the screen when the better bet is to make the screen look about a mile deep, I dunno.

I don't remember any of the dialog, though. Except for "I see you" and "We're not in Kansas," but that last one's from Wizard of Oz in the first place, so that's the only reason it stuck.

Off topic but I just tried to do the same for Jurassic World and I couldn't think of anything.

"Run!"
"Raptors got a new alpha"
"Not a good idea."

Oh that's easy....

"I say we take off and nuke the tree from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure."

“Draw me like one of your Na'vi”

"Hasta la vista, unobtanium"

Salty Star Wars fans who think Avatar doesn't deserve top dog spot.

Nope. Fucking terrible movie in every single aspect. The worst being what's his names acent going in and out of American to Australian.

Jake Sully, Neytiri, Miles Quaritch, Grace. I remember Michelle Rodriquez's character had an old timey name like Gertrude or Eunice or some shit.

"We're talking about some goddamn trees!"
"I see you."
"It did not have to die."
"They're pissing on us and don't even have the common courtesy to call it rain!"

What is people's obsession with freakin' Avatar?

For a film supposedly no one thinks about, I've been seeing it a lot recently.

Because it was incredibly successful. People are mad that Thing They Don't Like is liked by many people. Especially because Thing They Do Like (Star Wars) isn't liked by as many people.

Such a nonsense post, yes I can remember lines from the movie. The movie was a visual spectacle, how many images pop in your head when you think about it. I know for me there are a shitload of them. Want me to remember a line of dialog give me, Arnie, Samuel Jackson or anything by Tarantino. Plus the reason Arnie is memorable is because of Cameron.
