The worst is cancelling at Gamestop. I went in to cancel and refund a game preorder and the employee literally begged and pleaded with me...told me that it would count against their stats and get them into trouble.
He was a cool dude, it was just strange for me calling a support rep to cancel a preorder. I haven't done this since probably 2003.
I don't see a problem, really.
GTA XBOne confirmed?
Sounds like they're doing their job?
Not seeing anything out of the ordinary.
It's posts like these...So this is a thread about someone doing their job.
Oh.
If a sudden rash (2-4) of people suddenly went in and canceled several pre-orders in a row at gamestop the employee would most likely be fired or would have massively cut hours. I think it is a automated process. The worst is cancelling at Gamestop. Y is this a thread?
So was he fibbing?Classic technique. For a while Gamestop didn't bother me because one time I went in there I was like look guys we've been playing this song and dance for a while now and it never works so let's just be real and while they weren't like super thrilled about it I never got asked to put a warranty on my game or preorder something.
Ok, then this sounds similar to my experience with Apple. I fucking hate corporations. If a sudden rash (2-4) of people suddenly went in and canceled several pre-orders in a row at gamestop the employee would most likely be fired or would have massively cut hours. I think it is a automated process.
Why do you have to call to cancel a pre-order?
Another reason to get a PS4. Sony wouldn't do crap like that.
Sounds like every customer servicer rep when it comes to canceling things.
You will surely get the grand theft autos.
I don't see a problem, really.
Because there isn't one. Or at least i don't see one. Can someone enlighten me?
Please be a joke
what the hell? The worst is cancelling at Gamestop. I went in to cancel and refund a game preorder and the employee literally begged and pleaded with me...told me that it would count against their stats and get them into trouble.
I think the person was just trying to pass the time with a little small talk. I've talked to MS support people before and they've all been nice.
Isn't this taking the Microsoft hate a bit too far now?.
The OP made this thread to highlight the fact that he thinks that it is weird that you have to call the Microsoft Store to cancel a pre-order. There, you are enlightened my child. Go and be free.
Those bastards....how dare they start a conversation with you!
