Please tell me honestly, GAF, are these good enough for Tumblr?

Where are the irritating filters? Or the subtle graininess?

People go to IGN for movie reviews? I'm pretty sure the same guy gave Man of Steel a 9.0 and BvS a 6.8 saying it was a "ok to good movie" and that "it's too competently made to be a disaster"...how do I know all this? I go to IGN for movie reviews.

Man how many secret comic book movies are there? Blade, Men In Black, The Mask, Ninja Turtles... I know there are a lot I'm forgetting.

Edit: Wrong thread yet right thread. Weird because I never do that.

Apparently the reason why there's so little reviews is because the only critics that have seen it so far are the ones that went to Vegas for Cinema-Con.

I think Winter Soldier is probably the best superhero movie next to Avengers and Watchmen. And I think the Russo's are the best at this kind of thing.
However, I am nervous about the lack of Black Panther talk, compared with the Spiderman impressions. This either tells me BP is portrayed boring/badly, or there just isn't a big role for him in this movie, or that these people who got to see the movie first care more about Spiderman.

He's either anazing or not mentioned at all. I wouldn't worry. He's still just a secondary character.

Coogler will give you what you want though.

You one of the real boys of comic book movie gaf. Speak your mind man...

I'll pop in here tomorrow and do a similar thing like I did for BvS, then hide in the Spoiler Thread forever

I'll be live posting my review while I watch it tomorrow until Marvel notices and has me murdered.

I've already told them to keep an eye out for someone named Einchy

They told me to stop calling them

It seems to me these critics have a huge hard on for Spidey. Fucking Spiderman Chills.

Joking aside people from Collider in their spoiler free review talked about how important T'Challa's plot point is in the story. That Chadwick Boseman nails Black Panther's character and how great his accent is. Heck, one of them even said Black Panther's introduction was more impressive than Spidey.

You have nothing to fear. There's just as much praise for Black Panther as there is for Spider-Man.

Don't know if this was posted. Inside The Magic video review.

Never seen a video review by the channel before (they cover mainly Disney stuff, I think) but the reviewer says he is self-admittedly not a huge fan of Marvel, yet this film won him over to where he is now excited about Infinity War.

Hah! He did give Man of Steel a 9. Not that that's invalid, everyone is entitled to their opinions, but that at least shows me our tastes don't align.

IGN's review seems off not because of the score but because it kind of assumes that you need both a bombastic 3rd act (which Marvel would have gotten grilled for anyways for being structured too much like past films) and expecting the villain to be a traditional villain when that's never been the presumption anywhere.

They're totally entitled to their own opinion and blah blah blah but I don't hold it against them for trying to keep most of the action in the 2nd act, and I certainly can't figure out why anyone would expect Zemo to take a Loki or Malekith or Ronan type of role in this. That's part of what I'm interested in, actually; how, amid internal conflict, they are vulnerable to external threats in general that don't have to be world-ending things.

You know, I wonder if we will see more director teams on these big spectacle movies. It seems like the Russos are able to make these films without killing themselves the way Whedon or Snyder seemed to have. With movies this big and complicated two people to share the main load seems like its not a bad idea.
