Would love some expansions to show flashbacks to the best chapters from the books, now that most people are accostumed to Ciri, Yeneffer and most of the lore.

The golden dragon chapter in the sword of destiny, or the badass one of Geralt and Yeneffer at the Mages and sorcerers ball at Gors Velen, where he meets Filippa and other sorcerers, talks with Djistra and has the scary dialogue with Vilgefortz. Then all hell brakes loose in the morning.

CD Projekt Red, developer of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, has said it isn't planning to talk about its next game, Cyberpunk 2077, until 2017 at the earliest.

Speaking to Reuters, CD Projekt CEO Adam Kicinski said he expects Cyberpunk 2077 to be a bigger commercial success than The Witcher 3, and added that the company doesn't plan to offer more information on the game for a while yet.

"We hope and we are certain that Cyberpunk has even bigger commercial potential," he said. "It is too early to talk about it, though."

"This year, and the next one will be the years of the Witcher," he added.

Holy shit, what the fuck happened to this game? There original plan was Witcher 3 in 2014 and this in 2015. Obviously big changes went on behind the scenes. Guessing everyone just wound up working on W3 instead of having two teams, one on each game.

Given the scope and depth of Witcher 3, I'd rather they take their time to craft another game like that rather than churn out a game going through the motions of an established blueprint. I'm glad Witcher 3 is apparently doing very well as it will alleviate any financial pressure while sending the signal that they should keep making games the way they do.

I'll be first in line to get it but it will be done when it's done.
