The app is t great for tech as their are so many variants they don't all get loaded on. What's likely happened is ethat the employee quoted you the the lowest grade price (which the app often doesn't surface). All stores treat grading slightly differently but the one that I worked in would put any unboxed items on the lowest grade automaticlt and only bump it up if we really felt it was needed to guarantee the stock.

Alternatively they typed in the wrong code, the books GAME uses with the codes are just reams of different SKU's in a really small font. It's incredibly easy to type the wrong code in, I'd always enter the code three times when I worked there to make sure it was the correct item before quoting a price.

i've asked about trading in devices before, guy said basically if it's unopened and sealed it's a A rank, if it's opened and unused it's a B rank or if it's opened and used it's a C rank

AFAIK you should do, yes. If you want to make sure, call them to arrange the cancellation and ask explicitly.

I've just bought this for GamesTM and I'll be taking advantage of the offer again at the end of next month (it lasts until 31 August), as I have existing post-dated subscriptions to EDGE and PC Gamer starting shortly, from the last time that this offer was on - so hopefully can extend them while minimising overlap. The order confirmation page claims that purchases via this offer should just add to the end of an existing sub, but I'm not sure that I fully trust that.

This makes total sense, thanks for the clarity.

Still, GAME could be a LOT clearer about it. As I say, they do have a category for "As New" on the app which I regarded as boxed (and ignored as a result), with a separate category for "Good Condition" which I read as unboxed but in good condition. Mine is unboxed but other than screen fingerprints is in perfect knick.

Feels shady as fuck to not even mention category C on the app, but then regard 99% of the trade in hardware they'll get as that in store, but I suppose it is GAME..

Has anyone had a dispatch notice of Splatoon 2 from Simply (or any other retailer) yet? I was expecting to get it earlier from Simply as I'm leaving for holidays on Friday, but nothing so far :(

I've had shipping notices earlier than 4PM from them.

That said, if you ordered the same day it's generally going to be around that time, assuming you got in for the cut off.

Seems like a seller on Amazon.de is also selling Xcom 2 for Ps4/Xbone at 9.99 euro, but won't deliver to Sweden.
