My all-time favorite arcade game is Nintendo's Popeye, but I would love to see a modern platform brawler of Popeye by the Cuphead guys.

This is an interesting topic. I think a Clangers game by Amanita Design would be excellent. Ghost in the Shell would be an excellent fit for Platinum Games. A Magic School bus game by Double Fine would probably be good times. Scooby Doo by Telltale Games.

I can't think of any devs that would do Cowboy Bebop or Ren & Stimpy justice.

Anime but Naughty Dog should fit the bill, I say.

Even those who did aren't really following it. I don't mind it that much since this sort of thing is so much fun and I still can't get over how perfect the megas + platinum combination sounds.

So in that spirit I'll nominate something more recent: Mononoke game made by Telltale.

On the other hand I also would love to see a Secret Squirrel game by a Next Level Games or something.
