This got me good. I laugh at anybody that says sight. No more looking at girls, travel, movies etc.Have you seen a movie with the video off?

I think losing your hearing has more social costs than losing your sight, because most people communicate through speech, so I don't think it's as easy of a decision as most people think.

So you'd give up films, tv, video games and being able to have a normal life for music?
Your life would get exponentially harder as a blind person.
Most communication is non verbal and you can be fully independent without hearing and are mostly reliant on others without sight.Ok but I don't see that changing the virtual social isolation that probably comes with going deaf.
I hate the Gaffers who comment "I would/want to die" in every thread. It's incredibly irritating.
I wonder if ye had to choose between sight, hearing, and smell, who WOULDNT pick smell.
Coming from someone who doesn't have a sense of smell
Losing your hearing can also fuck up your sleep cycle, as it can be accompanied by a permanent case of tinnitus.losing sight will fuck up your sleep cycle badly. so yea, id keep my sight.; unless you wanna be like daredevil or something.
As a musician, I'd rather lose my sight.
I'll keep my sight, but damn losing music would kill me inside.
if you went blind, YOU WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO READ THIS!!!!!
you wouldn't be on the internet, browsing shit and watching porn. You couldn't drive. Imagine trying to cook, or fly to another country. Or shit, try getting to the nearest 7-11. Yes blind people have managed to do most of this on their own, but I'm sure it took them a long time.
I think the social cost of being blind are bigger than being deaf, so yeah I'd rather be deaf.
This is a tough question.
I'd just rather die tbh.
