Class of Heroes 2 [PSP] US website launched!

Will the physical copy come with a manual?

If we hit critical mass to do a physical edition, it will have a full color manual. The details are up on Gaijinworks.com now with 3 new moderately-lengthy gameplay videos. I have another doctor's appointment tomorrow morning, so I put it up early in case I'm not back by 10am PST.

I just noticed that the digital download code you get along the physical release will only be for the North American PSN.

I wouldn't mind waiting a little longer and getting an EU PSN code instead, but I guess that is not an option? Would be great to be able to play this game on my Vita without it being too much of a hassle.

Edit: signed up as well.

Just looked at the info on www.gaijinworks.com regarding the physical edition

It mentions still needing a PEGI rating for European release, just wondering if it's also going to be submitted for classification in Australia or not?

The other thing I was going to suggest regarding the digital code, and this may be more trouble than it's worth... but for those in the EU that wanted to, could you give an option where you send out the physical copy, and email an EU code later, once it's been rated and approved?

Might help get to the 2500 number, just a thought anways

Oh, I also just noticed that 2 of the 3 YouTube videos on the site are still set to Private, so we can't view them

I put myself down for two copies so I didn't forget, but I wanted to ask will the kickstarter people be able to get one of each version of the game if they wanted (aka one kickstarter exclusive and one normal)?

I seem to recall reading that downloadable portable games count as "mobile" games under Australian ratings rules, and can get by with only a PEGI rating. That's why you only got the Vita version of Retro City Rampage.

We talked about a split shipment (physical USA version/digital EU version) for overseas fans, but decided it could get messy pretty quickly for a number of reasons, so we left it as-is for this.

Thanks for the heads-up on the videos. It was really late last night when I opened that page, and I forgot to unlock those two. All three videos are unlocked now. :)

We're trying to figure out the logistics for this case, but it's our intention to offer it if we get to actual preorders.

Pretty sure that's the case. Germany is the only one we're not sure about.

I had thought that was the case myself, but when asking Tom from XSEED why their releases have never come to Australia he wasn't aware of this, so I called the ratings board and they seemed to think it was not the case either.

Yet it worked for RCR.. so yea.... confusing!

Game's finished. We're set to go to Sony QA.

The chances of the dub meeting the average quality of all the songs I produced at WD is much better than 0.2%, but I'll take that bet. :)

Having the final version done, I would say it's not LUNAR level, but better than Alundra and Rayearth. It also hews closer to the Japanese lyrics, although I made it gender neutral since it's a co-ed school and the original song title was Danger(ous) Girls, which was totally sexist. Now it's Danger School.

It's also the first song we've done with a group, since the Japanese one was done by Sphere, a manufactured J-pop girl group. There's one lead (Kathy Emma, aka Lemina, etc), and three backup singers in the US version.

Great news! Although I for one didn't think the Rayearth dub was all that bad. ;)

Will pick this up for sure.
