Cliff should just be ignored by this point...

He is a nice guy, but his tweets range everything between positive, negative, sincere and trolling... and it isn't easy to spot in which categories one falls...

If I get what I want, why should I care if Sony is getting free PR out of it? More power to them if they can take treating your customer base well and turning that into a way to make money.

Agreed, at this point there is no time for Sony to pull off a successful trick on everyone.

Their PR has been spot on, doubt they would pull the rug out from anyone now or anytime before launch.

Speculation is just speculation, no matter who it comes from.
 
How, exactly, could they play us? You can play used games, you can give them to your friends, there will be no charge, there is no always-online DRM or online check-in... these are definitive statements Cliff.

Am I not seeing a loophole here? Were they just balls out lying?
 
Guy is becoming more of a joke by the day. Unfortunate since he seemed to create some decent games. I guess he sorta fell off when he left Epic.
 
Isnt this how pr works, if a company has given you a helping hand why would any company out to make money and beat the other not take advantage?.

Well, I guess that's one of the things that happens when you're cashed up, young a legend of your industry and not got much going on.

Can't help but want to make people squirm a little with a single absent minded tweet!

Plus, if you're dropping dumb troll lines all the time, the one time you say something dumb and mean it, you can always back pedal by saying it was just another troll statement!

Guy's in a no lose situation.
 
Someone needs to tell "Cliffy" that trolling on the internet is what it is because of the anonymity that is inherent when posting on a forum. When everybody knows who is behind the actual content of the troll, then guess what? all you do is make yourself look like a clown.

Congrats Cliffy, you've just spent the last month trolling yourself.
 
Guy has always been extremely pro Xbox and Microsoft so no one should be surprised he is publicly hitting out at Sony. Especially since he is unemployed and doesn't have anyone to pull him into line.
 
There is no doubt in my mind, after seeing him on the GiantBomb livestream, that he is totally bro rage over this issue. He wants a digital future, he regards the backlash against the One as being vaguely annoying and against the future he envisions.

I like the guy a lot, but the place where he is digging his heels here.... I can't agree at all.
