Hope everyone that goes has fun! I went from 2005 to 2008 and had so much fun. I feel too old to go now.
Saturday looks pretty good to me. Hot Chip was fantastic back in 2008. I would love to see Grizzly Bear also. People going Sunday obviously can't miss Modest Mouse.

Secruity has gotten tighter every year, when I went way back in 04-07, it was fucking stupid easy to get stuff in.
Most times, it got easier the farther into the weekend you got, event staff gets tired/lazy/its fucking hot as hell.
And for your own sake, drink twice as much water as you normally would, I grew up in that desert, it's fucking HOT.

I have no idea. I saw people getting busted left and right at the checkpoints last year yet the festival was still chock full of everything you could ever want. I think if you're camping you can easily hide stuff in your car. But if you're walking in, they will pat you and check you good.
We only brought alcohol (AFAIK) and they went through our coolers pretty thoroughly.

It's not just Coachella.. they're headlining almost all major European festivals as well. Have fun at Coachella everyone.. and when the desert is burning you, just remember.. I'm going to Glastonbury, the festival that turns into a water themepark each year..
I thought it was strange how Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix was such a massive hit. How does a band suddenly blow up and become a festival headlining act after 10 years and three solid albums?
