Please tell me Joey actually was on tv again.

Playing the piano maybe? Supporting his high flying doctor wife?

Joey Harrington was on ESPN earlier today in a trivia contest against Jason Campbell. Jason Campbell did what he does best and lost. And it got me this tidbit: Did you know there used to be a Bacardi Bowl and it was held in Havana? It was also called the Rhumba Bowl and the Cigar Bowl.

Has anyone else going to the BCS Championship gotten an email from StubHub offering $3200 for their ticket? Man, it's so tempting since I only paid $800 for mine. :lol

I'd say do it MCX. Only way to clean up the corruption of Auburn's Program: Making them spend all their money.

Ingram, Julio, and Dareus are going for sure. Donte Hightower is on the stage, so he might be going too

Hightower is staying.

Agreed. That's was an awful amount of money to pay for a ticket ($800), but a 4x return on that would enable MCX to buy a huge 3DTV (the MNC game is being broadcast in 3D) and nice home theater system. It'd be like he was there anyway.

Go, Ducks

Word is, the Harbaugh roulette was sound and fury. He's likely back at Furd at least one more year.

You assume they're gonna win the South!
Well, yeah. UCLA and CU are piles of suck (CU might improve w/the new coach, we'll see). ASU... don't see it. Zona could challenge, though the way they ended the season was uninspiring. USC can't win the South.

So yeah, it's between Zona and Utah, and... I'm going with Utah. Guess we'll see!

so excited for my Niners.

Gonna be tough for Stanford next year. I wonder if Harbaugh takes D-coordinator Vic Fangio with him

Is it because they won't be bowl eligible next year the Pac-12 won't allow them to be in the CCG?

If it works the same way the SEC does it, then no, they don't go to the CCG

Yeah, they're banned from the post-season, which includes CCGs.

Texas Tech accused of major violations

LUBBOCK, Texas -- The NCAA is accusing Texas Tech of major rules violations tied to nearly 1,000 impermissible text messages sent to football, softball and golf prospects.

The NCAA released its findings Friday. It said the school discovered the violations and reported them to the NCAA.

Penalties could include two years' probation, recruiting restrictions and scholarship reductions.

The NCAA says the football violations occurred between August 2007 and February 2009, which would have come under former coach Mike Leach. The NCAA says the football coaching staff sent approximately 234 text messages to 45 prospective student-athletes.

Also, John Clay is going to the NFL

FSU's recruiting class is falling apart. Aaron Lynch just decommitted :(
He's already signed his enrollment papers so in theory he could be at school next week. These are some last minute jitters thanks to ND's negative recruiting. I think he'll ultimately stick with us but we'll see.

Until we win our appeal!
Good luck with that.

The NCAA is a giant sports Cthulhu, sometimes sleeping, sometimes impinging on college football in capricious and inexplicable ways we mere mortals can't hope to comprehend.

So ask yourself: what would Cthulhu do? (hint: "grant the appeal" is not the correct answer.)

I havent seen those signs anywhere, apparently theyre all over. Theres no near campus so I dont know. And no one I know has seen one either. *shrug*

ahhh, I knew it was one of those :lol

I thought this was pretty much common knowledge. He is the booster

The fact that you phrased it as THE booster and not A booster should be all that really needs to be said.

Hearing a lot of noise about this now, so might as well post it: Texas nabbed BSU's Offensive coordinator.

Bryan Harsin New Texas Offensive Coordinator

Both new coordinators are around 35, and both seem to have damn good records at what they do. Seems like the right shot in the arm that this program needs.

I just hope his offensive scheme didn't just revolve around Kellen Moore. ( I didn't watch too many BSU games so I wouldn't know ) Greg Davis as we know only looked good because of VY and Colt McCoy. Obviously those schemes wouldn't work with Gilbert
