Some people seem to think that the Tressel rumors were started to try to steer recruits away from OSU.
It's an interesting theory, but I doubt it's true. I'd say it's probably just a "friend of a friend who knows a guy at Ohio State" type of deal.

What the heck Toledo? I thought the Sun Belt was the nations worst DI conference but I think the MAC gets that award now.

Toledo didn't really have any business being in a bowl game. They were probably 4th best in a weak MAC league.
