:D

not sure how that's not a catch. had the ball after bouncing off the ground, and there isn't slippage until he's slide out of bounds.

But it's Mizzou, so who cares.

Well that about wraps it up for my gaf pickem chances.

Can't be doing worse than I am. If I had the ability to switch my picks in the last minute of the game I would still lose.

Going to the Texas Bowl tomorrow...I go to Illinois as a grad student...but really who cares about the Illini? Better than cheering for Baylor.

I do! Wish I could go to the bowl. Not really expecting good things, but whatever. Illini in a bowl game doesn't happen often enough to get stingy.

I'm pretty sure old Zooksy is still looking for his first bowl win with Illinois...and they were just in the Rose bowl within recent memory.

2009 Insight Bowl Champs: Iowa State

2011 Insight Super Bowl Iowa vs. Iowa State? :)

(Me: Iowa State fan) :D

I just watched the game with my father-in-law, an ISU fan. He went to bed disapointed.

I'm sorry :(

I'll go for Iowa occasionally, Mizzou has really pissed me off lately so I am glad to see the state of Iowa take the Insight Bowl 2 years in a row.

Sure, we (Iowa State) lost two games we shouldn't have and didn't make a bowl, but we also beat teams I didn't think we would. Next year should be better.

Went to bed knowing I would be short 18 points in the pick-em thanks to NCSU. Woke up to discover I had lost ANOTHER 27 points thanks to the Iowa game. Fuck.

Sugar Bowl CEO lobbied to have OSU players eligible.

As if there was any doubt that the NCAA was corrupt.
Should have quoted the damning comment:
"I made the point that anything that could be done to preserve the integrity of this year's game, we would greatly appreciate it," Hoolahan was quoted by the Columbus Dispatch. "That appeal did not fall on deaf ears, and I'm extremely excited about it, that the Buckeyes are coming in at full strength and with no dilution."
It's he said, she said, at a certain level but a pretty rough comment nonetheless.

Ugh.

I just want this over with. I want us to win, absolutely, but at this point, I'd love nothing more than for all of the involved parties to jump to the NFL. The rules they broke were really stupid ones, but they still broke them and should be punished for it.

Unlike Auburn fans, I'm actually capable of feeling conflicted about all of this. And what our players did doesn't even come close to what Cam did.

The worst part is knowing that despite all its done this season that was contrary to the USC ruling, when we go to appeal the NCAA will ignore it.

Yep, gotta love their rule about "ignoring anything that has happened since, or wasn't part of the case itself." Super.

Should of brought it out

THought he was trying to be like Hester, casually walking it up and then exploding once blocking happened. Guess not. Might as well try, I mean it's a meaningless bowl game. Have at it!
