Damn, Huskies d is lights out tonight!
Yea its more the ineptitude of the Nebraska Offense. You can reference our previous games. Our offensive coordinator needs to be fired as well.

This is going to make the UW-Nebraska game on 9/17/11 this much better. Instead of Nebraska steam rolling us twice, we could potentially beat them in a bowl game, which will just piss them off and make the third game in a year more entertaining and meaningful.

yup. I was high on the Locker bandwagon last year, thinking another year under Sark would do him wonders, but the way he failed to really improve made me bail out. Accuracy is king in the NFL right now, it's why Brady, Brees, Peyton and Rivers are on top and why Bradford had such an excellent rookie year. You gotta have that polish nowadays. No more drafting guys in the 1st round that have that kind of a flaw in their game.
Accuracy is Locker's biggest flaw right now. Sadly his accuracy has gone down this year, but I don't put all the blame on him for it. The loss of TE Kavario Middleton was huge and the WR have been dropping balls all year. Also Locker tried way to hard to stick in the pocket and not use his legs this season. He threw A LOT of passes where he should have just stepped up instead of trying to force a throw.
For Locker to land in the top 15 picks, he must have a solid Senior Bowl and show scouts at the NFL combine that his accuracy isn't as bad as his numbers display.

Can't say im really surprised this is happening. Nobody's cared about this game and weve been playing sloppy. The only talk leading up to this game is if Nebraska would be motivated enough to play. Well lose tonight and come back to stomp them at home again next year.

His accuracy really isn't that big of a deal, the main problem is he hasn't shown anything growth in the thinking part of being a QB. He locks onto the first read and its either there and he throws or it's not and he ends up getting sacked or scrambling.

He'll get a couple of years in the pros with actual football players around him to see if it makes a difference but if he can't figure out how to progress through the reads he's not gonna make it.

One thing people miss though, is that he will never be a complete bust because he can be shifted over to safety or maybe even a h back type if QB doesn't work out.

WHAT A CATCH! Just an awful throw.. one of the worst I've seen in a long time. If that's a good throw that guy is off to the races.

You have no idea how bad of a thrower Green is.

Honestly I would consider that a good pass by his standards.
He's shown that on the subsequent passes. Terrible. How are your QBs so bad?

Looks like UDub is playing some prevent here so he's at least got a chance for a few completions.

After getting slaughtered in September, I really think Sark and Co. sat down and reviewed a ton of tape and knew what to expect. I'm not saying we're a fantastic team, but we knew how to handle Bo and his kids tonight.

Our offense season went downhill after Martinez got hurt in the Mizzou game. Never been the same since. Green also sucks. We have a senior Lee who played last year and is a decent thrower and has been very "experienced" player who doesn't seem to fuck up like the other two but Pelini won't play him. Supposedly they don't get along very well and Pelini likes to give green experience.

All they had to do was review the tapes from the last 3 games. :lol

Hopefully Watson will FINALLY be fired after this game.

My wife and I are going to Lincoln for the game in September. This is going to make that game so much fun.

"The stats are not his concern tonight."

Yeah, they wouldn't be mine either if I went 5-16 for 56 yards. :lol
Yea ive been kind of confused because theyve acted like he had this unbelievable game when he did shit.

Huck the Fuskies but congrats. That's a great win and Locker deserves to go out like that.

Also, Pac 10 plays defense?

Nebraska had 109 yards before those garbage time first downs. Arizona held Oklahoma State 225 yards below their average.

Didn't he go like 5-20 the first game?
4-20. All the Husky fans on my facebook friend list are celebrating like they just won the NC. Pretty fucking obnoxious for a team that went 0-12 2 years ago.

My relatives were talking shit just about BEING in a bowl game this year. I guess when you haven't gone in awhile you get excited and stuff.

I can't believe the announcers were slobbering all over Locker. The guy made a couple of good plays, but basically played terrible the rest of the time. Couldn't throw down field, couldn't check down, and couldn't make a pass that was catchable. He'll be an awful quarterback in the NFL. Tell him to gain some weight and be a fullback. Or a slot receiver.

Game ball goes to Chris Polk. He carried the Huskies. Literally.

Isn't that a reason to celebrate? If your team went from horrible to winning a bowl game win in two years, I think you would be excited.

What a shitty day that was for KState and TENN. Totally screwed by officials. Obviously they still went out and lost, but that doesn't help.

I figured NEB would destroy WAS. I guess it was classic team that doesn't want to be there loses. Seems to afflict Holiday more than any. Still remember TTU beating CAL.

Wow at the battle of the Husk* teams. I can only take solace in the fact that probably everybody in the GAF pick 'em lost 30+ points from that game. If anybody picked W to win, they are in a good spot right now, especially if the had a lot of points on it.

Actually I think that's about the only time it is acceptable. That's a pretty fantastic turnaround.

Can't blame Parker. He's just trying to throw to the cutoff man.

God we are so terrible at football. And don't blame us for the empty stadium. Blame USF and their awful fans.

True. I see a lot of orange.
