No, it isn't. They wanted to open the sport up to more than just certain conferences, but what they're doing is just creating another type of "elites." I mean, it was always about money -- don't get me wrong -- but this is just unfettered money-spinning. We'll see how it shakes out in a year or two. I don't trust the NCAA to fix it, though.

I have had to explain to younger people I work with that there use to be people voting on a champ and you could get an AP and a Coaches champ.
