One of the most time honored traditions in America, is the writing of the reflective essay at the start of each school year. Students are asked to look back on all the fun they had while not being in school and reflect on what they learned and how they grew.
So we here at BlueMax New Inc, have managed to ask a few notable personalities from the college football world, what they learned in their time away from the Grid Iron, shall we?
Fact: I learned that no one gives a shit if I transfer.
I learned its probably better to not have an open Twitter feed when you're a public figure.
I learned that Will Muschamp doesn't like weed and winning nearly as much as Coach Meyer.
I learned that there is a limit to college pranks. And when you're my age you should probably not be doing them still.
I learned that $25k just doesn't buy what it used to.
I learned that just because they call you the Senator, it doesn't give you Carte blanche to act like an actual politician.
I learned that as long as you have fabulous hair, people will give you another shot.
I learned that CBS is a bunch of racist gits.
I learned that you should probably sign your contract before attempting to discredit your planned replacement.
I learned its probably not wise to use a car rented by a university employee for a joy ride.
I learned the NCAA really is just jelly.
I, uh, oh shit!
I was supposed to learn something?

timetokill said:GAF NCAAFB Pick'em 2011
The Pick'em is here again this year, and works similarly to last year's, with a few tweaks. Here are the rules:
- 15 games will be selected by me each week
- Players pick a winner for each game and how much they think they will win by (margin of victory)
- You can get up to 2 points per game: 1 point for picking the winning team, and another point if your margin of victory prediction is within 3 of the actual margin of victory
- Maximum of 30 points each week
- Each player's lowest week will be automatically dropped
- Anybody can play, just post your picks!
So without further ado:
GAF Pick'em Week 1 Games
(14) TCU @ Baylor by X
Akron @ (18) Ohio State by X
Utah State @ (23) Auburn by X
Northwestern @ Boston College by X
BYU @ Ole Miss by X
Rice @ Texas by X
UCLA @ Houston by X
Minnesota @ (25) USC by X
South Florida @ (16) Notre Dame by X
Idaho State @ Washington State by X
Fresno State @ California by X
Colorado @ Hawaii by X
(5) Boise State @ (19) Georgia by X
Miami (FL) @ Maryland by X
(3) Oregon vs (4) LSU by X
Hard to pick games for the opening weeks since so many cupcakes are scheduled.
Thanks again to everybody for last year and for letting me do this again this year. Good luck!
