Does the code go to your Xfinity email or whatever you have on file for your account?

Same

Edit: Kept trying and finally got it.

Finally got it.

Btw, if you were previously a comcast xfinity user, you probably still have access to your email account, and your old account number. Those will seemingly still net you the code. I canceled my service last thursday and it still worked.

I was just gonna use my parents account number if it didnt, but guess thats not needed.

I'll never live in a city where Comcast is the only option.

Smart decision. It's been nothing but horrible the past year. Unfortunately all I have access to is Comcast and AT&T. My speeds are gonna be halved, 100mbps to 60mpbs, but I can't stand Comcast anymore. Before this they went like 4 months charging me for 200mbps but I was only receiving 100mbps. So this isn't the first time thy tried charging me more.

First time I've ever gotten anything from Comcast other than a headache
Outside of one bad router and two bad cable boxes, I have no issues with comcast in 15 years. I decided to use my own router a long time ago after a tech i formed me everything they use is refurbished, and most of the time just dusted off and returned to service.

Now I know that sounds bad and take it for a grain of salt. But, I could not be happier with my service.

I'm a Comcast "Network Technician" and I just wanted to say that I find the thread title and some of the comments in here, highly offensive. I've been with the company for 18 years, and I can tell you that the company and the employees have gone to great lengths and made many sacrifices to try to provide our customers with the best possible service.

I work for the "Plant Engineering" department and I can tell you with absolute certainty, we work extremely hard to maintain the best possible distribution network to make certain our customers are receiving quality and excellence in their services. Comcast has been an industry leader and innovator in system monitoring tools & software, which we use 24/7 to detect any possible issues and fix them before our customers ever notice a problem.

We have three different shifts which cover 20 hours of every day, every week, all year. We have On-Call technicians who are available 24/7 to resolve any emergency service interruptions as quickly as possible. As a matter of fact, I'm currently On-Call for this week, and last night at 2am, I was out in the field repairing an outage affecting over 100 customers, while most of you were sleeping in your beds. Guess what? When those customers woke up this morning, they never knew there was a problem. We do this stuff night and day, no matter the weather, and I would venture to say that most of you probably couldn't handle going through some of the situations we deal with.

I'm not saying Comcast is perfect, we are not. There is always room for improvement and believe it or not, we are always trying to get better. I don't agree with everything the company does, I'm not a fan of data caps and I disagree with Comcast's views on Net Neutrality. That being said, just remember the next time you want to shit on Comcast, there's a lot of great people who work very hard to try to provide you with the best service they can. You're going to run into bad people, but that's true anywhere, It's not exclusive to Comcast.

I don't know where some of you people work, but think about how you would feel when you work your ass off and people shit on your job or company.

Good and honest work for shitty companies all the time. Welcome to America.

Nobody's shitting on your job though. Comcast has managed to not improve anything in the area I live in the past 5+ years, and recently they've actually managed to make our service worse by throwing a 1TB cap on it.

Nobody's this damn loyal to the company they work for unless they're the CEO or something. This is some hail corporate bullshit right here.

It's great that you like your job and all, but you're getting paid for that job. You're not getting paid to go around trying to get people to believe that Comcast's actually the "good guys" because they have real human beings working for them. You've chosen to work for a company that's decided that going back to having data caps while not improving service makes sense. You've chosen to work for a company that's opposed to net neutrality.

I'm not saying hail to the company, that's not what I said at all, and I can tell you, there's a lot of highly dedicated people at Comcast, including myself. Maybe you should switch to Verizon Fios? Good luck with them when you have trouble with your services.

I hate Comcast and the yearly December price hikes (in my area), but the one thing I can say is that the internet I get is very reliable and consistent, regarding uptime/speed.

Content providers such as HBO, Showtime, and many, many others, raise their prices annually for Comcast to purchase the content, which is one of the reasons the prices go up annually.

Weird, because I have only internet and the price still goes up with also the addition of data caps. 😉

Maybe it's for the second beta with Xbox and PS4

Nah, the text said if you entered your information by last night, a code would be emailed to you today. If you entered after last night, you'd get a code for the next beta.

Haven't gotten a code yet either.

I finally got a code through my email when I try to redeem it on the call of duty website it tells me its invalid. Anybody have any luck?
