When you have an example to copy turns out it's much easier. Also, I like that the JiM/Thor complementarity is still a thing. Much like Gillen and Fraction's runs were super conceptual, the Aaron/Immonen take looks like it's gonna be loads and loads of fighting. It's good that they've got their shit together is what I'm saying.

I'm in for Thor, Hulk, and Cap so far on NOW. Uncanny Avengers is a maybe, Iron Man lost me at Land. If they get good buzz, I might give F4 and FF a shot. Don't care much about the X-Men, so Legacy and All-New are out. Same with Deadpool.
Who would you want do it? I'm asking because I've been trying to figure out who I'd want on BP. Remender and Brubaker would have been my first choices on writers, but they're so unlikely, and my somewhat limited knowledge base for creators is failing me in coming up with anyone else. lol

Well they're bound to have a line wide event in may to "shake things up" that will inevitably sidetrack half the line with crappy side stories.

I wonder if X-Force is going to become an all new roster, completely divorced from Wolverine's team after he packs up after the current arc.
Reasons that lead me to believe this are that first Marvel NOW teaser image with Cyclops and Cable both wearing overtly new red costumes, maybe as the new X-Force forerunners after they leave the X-Men/Utopia due to fucking up massively, and maybe Magneto as he just fits right off the bat colour-wise and ethos since rather than the sharey carey lets get on together status quo the mutant world will enter after AvsX he'll have some pent up shit to work out as well.

There's an absolutely BRILLIANT finale to the Lizard-Spidey fight, today. Just great, clever comic book storytelling.

I hope so. It's such a good run, it deserves a comprehensive, respectful colletion, like the Starman ones DC did. In fact, Starman should be the model for all collections.
It was good stuff. Looks like shit is gonna be going down soon.

I'm really hoping Captain Marvel pulls it off. I really want this book to do well, but the mediocre first issue is making me struggle with supporting it in the future.
Anyone have any idea if A+X is going to be in the same kind of zany tone as AvX VS? It's 99c on DCBS so I figured I'd give it a shot. (Now I'm debating whether or not to remove Captain Marvel 5 and 6).

Avengers 29, why are you so unbelievably frustrating? This story should have been told 3-4 months ago to coincide with the actual events of AvX.
These stories would have been good reads had they been fit into the narrative...but if anyone should know the pacing of the main crossover, shouldn't it be Bendis?
Spidery 691 is more Dan Slott on a roll. He really toys with expectations, from the continuation of the prior issue through the internal monologue at the end.
AvX 10 - I don't love where they're going with the
thing, but they painted themselves into a corner when they brought in the Phoenix. I'd complain about how Cyclops bears little resemblance to the character I grew up with, but I think that's a deliberate character choice. (Unlike Scarlet Witch in Avengers disassembled, and whatever Bendis did to WonderMan in Avengers, the writing here keeps calling attention to the changes.) Plus, I haven't read X-Men regularly in years, and I understand he's been moving in this direction for awhile now. The Infinite Comic seemed like a long way to go to make an obvious observation.
Namor doesn't have Phoenix powers, and hasn't for some time now. Plus
we know Prof. X is going to play a role in the final act of the series; Bendis played out the same reluctant actor bit in New Avengers, which is also trailing AvX by a few months.
