This would never work for jobs that communicate with other businesses because there will always be things that need to be done in the afternoon. The standard 8-5 works so well because most everyone in your time zone work the same hours, so you can communicate more effectively with them.

No one said you had to work five hours only in he morning.

I'm fine with the way things are now because I know the end result would be people being compensated a similar dollar per hour for only those 5 hours. Most companies aren't going to significantly raise everyone's pay so that they are making the exact same thing.

Lol 2-3 hours of productivity must not be working in a warehouse. I'm at the complete opposite. I work 10-12 hour shifts.

Most warehouses are probably going to replace people with robots in the next decade.
