You have to try different condoms, I had problems getting on regular condoms because of a wide head at first too (length isn't a problem lol). Also to people who say you don't need larger condom because you can fit an arm inside a regular one, it doesn't mean anything. This is because if one has a larger girth a normal size condom will most certainly be very uncomfortable around the base area. Well when you have a larger girth you can't do it because it's very difficult to just roll it over, so unless you stretch it and put it on it becomes very difficult.

Oh man, I'm glad this thread was made and I'm NOT crazy for feeling painfully strangled. When the veins tripple in size and turn darker above the condom it's just not fun. People always trot out that "but it fits around a head!" line, though.

I appreciate all of the advice and support everyone! I don't regret asking for advice; on the contrary, I'm glad I did. I can handle people saying snitty things. It honestly just makes me laugh really. Everyone has different things that they're insecure about, including me. I won't claim to know the reasons that some of the people in this thread have posted the less than pleasant things that they have, but it does seem like insecurity could be a factor in some of them.

I've heard that about that brand. People have also been recommend the Skyn brand, saying there's more stretch to them.
Ideally I'd probably want to use MySize, or TheyFit, but those may not be a viable option for me unfortunately.
I have a problem with condoms breaking. My junk isn't that thick (5.25" in circumference), but more often than not, I'll have to change condoms halfway through because they keep breaking. I'm squeezing the tip after I put it on to release the sir, so I'm not sure what the cause is. I'm just using regular lubricated Trojans.

Try applying a few drops of a water based or silicone based lubricant to the upper end of the penis before putting it on
You can also try adding some lube on the outside of the condom.
I second the lube comment, they're breaking due to friction and lube will to lessen the friction.

Thicker condoms aren't all that helpful if they are longer than they need to be. The unrolled portion will be more constricting and you'll end up with a purple/red bruised indent that can linger for a good 30 minutes depending on how long you were wearing it.
Standard width but stretchier polymers can be helpful in that situation. Playboy large and a wider fitting Kimono (colors I recall) can be good that way.
Trojan and Durex are so-so for stretchiness.
If you're 5.5 or more inches around, you apparently need a 58 mm condom for a comfortable fit, which cannot be legally sold in the US.
