I just came home from work, scroll through my youtube subscriptions and see: IGN - Conkers Big Reunion Trailer. Immediately I get this feeling of excitement in my stomach. Can it be? I click the Video... ARE YOU F****** kidding me.

How much can you not get it Microsoft? I mean it's not that hard to get, is it? I just don't get how someone can so much NOT GET IT.

It may be IGNs fault for labeling the Video as if it was a new standalone project. But still:

how does this affect the rating for project spark? Aside from the gun they don't do anything too bad in the trailer, will the game have to follow in the E10 footsteps of project spark itself?

They have a lot of work to do before I'll bite. Conker looks all wrong, he's less expressive than he was on the N64.

It's the animation. Lip sync was poor and his eyes and ears aren't doing anything. Voice work wasn't great either. The actual visual style looks alright on him but it's clear it's not a major undertaking, more a side thing for project spark.

In fact I'm happy because I thought we would only get props from Conker but we have a small game in the conker universe.

Day 1 for me to send a message to MS : Go further, we want a true come back of Conker !

Bonus : Also good to get this small game because we'll get a solid ground to build our Conker games (since I'm not really good to create gameplay stuff im Spark).

Yeah! I noticed that too. It's a genuine downgrade, especially when the very purpose of Conker is to parody kiddy N64 platformers.

I don't know why people want to see him back, or Microsoft find him relevant enough to throw him in some creation game. He's literally irrelevant, the only reason to bring him back would be to appease/piss off fans.

Spark one looks like he's carved out of stone or something. But that might be the look of that game. I played it for like 10 minutes and can't remember what things looked like.

I'm not giving MS credit that they know what to do with him. My thoughts are this Project Spark stuff is a test to see what kind of pull he has and what type of episodes/gameplay resonate with the players.
